“Helpful staff and great breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014 via mobile

We really enjoyed our stay in the centrale palace hotel. We arrived off a ferry at 7am tired and wanting showers and they were able to check us in straight away. The rooms were classic with nice extras like an old fashioned coat stand. Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs made to order. Reception was able to give us a good outline of the city. Would definitely recommend

Recently stayed at this lovely hotel which was centrally located in Palermo. Old world charm in a stately but sometimes worn setting. The bar/lobby area is comfortable and invites you to sit and enjoy a drink. They serve some tasty little finger sandwiches to go along with your drink.
The roof top restaurant was quite good.
The most lovely dining room where breakfast was served was beautiful. Would stay here again. We were three women traveling through Sicily.

Elegance is the first remarkable quality of this building, and the staff matches the expected level:very professional and helpful. Our room was very quite and comfortable with plenty of space.
The position is perfect for enjoying the city.
Internal parking is available at extra cost. Only drawback the internet connection in the rooms:slow and expensive.

We stayed our first night in Palermo in this Hotel. It is an older property, centrally located with basic amenities. The rooms were adequate, but nothing to write home about. If you like the older, more classical feel, then this Hotel will fit the bill, but you'll give up modern bath fixtures, working HVAC and larger spaces. The trade-off, of course, is the good location in walking distance to the shopping district and fine restaurants. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, but the property itself left me a bit disappointed.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel right before Christmas.
The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. the atmosphere is fantastic. it is a palazzo with beautiful public spaces. The room was comfortable with nice view to the dome of the church (4th floor). Very intimate and beautiful lobby. Caring staff,
Buffet breakfast was served in beautiful rooms.

Having never been to Palermo and traveling with a tour group, I had no idea of what to expect. What we found was a former palace that had been converted into a hotel that was less than a block from the historic center of the city, the four corners. The staff was especially helpful to a jet lagged traveler. I can't comment on the value as the hotel was part of our tour package total.

I would definitely stay again at the Centrale Palace Hotel in Palermo.
