“Best pizzeria in Palermo !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2011

Come early, before 8 or you will not get a table ! There are 3 restaurants together, this one full with many waiting, the 1 before and after almost empty. Many locals eat here on a Friday night. To get there go down Via Vittorio Emanuele past the Falkensteiner hotel and turn right, go round the right side of the park until you almost come to the huge tree. Good luck.

“It will be a shame to end up there in Palermo”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

Just Bad Food (a lot of dished based on frozen food) and quite expensive. The place was quite crowded (one of the reasons we choose it) but finally turned to be just a "tourist trap"
There are so much good places 2 eat in Palermo that i believe it is really difficult to find a worst place than this :)

“Pizza of your dreams in a lovely relaxed place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2011

Palermo can be exhausing and this place is a real oasis. Pizza was to die for, staff easy going and friendly. House white wine was lovely. Also, surroundings of Piazza Marina, the old churches and palaces is just ideal. The most tranquil and perfect moment on our Palermo trip.

“Really Cool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2010

In Piazza Marina, really central. The place is sofisticated with fantastic local food. The pizzas are big and prices were great for us.

“Great Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2008

This is a delightful pizzeria in an old building on Piazza Marina next to the Steri Castle. The atmosphere inside is inviting, especially on cool evenings, with stone walls and romantic niches. In warmer weather there's service at tables outside.

Dozens of kinds of pizzas are on offer, and it's possible to enjoy a pizza and beer for under 20 euros. Open evenings only. You best get there around 8 PM to find a place.

About the name: The Beati Paoli were an underground movement opposed to the Inquisition, whose victims were tortured in the nearby castle.
