In the heart of Palermo which is probably not as threatening as it once might have been this Restaurant is a beacon in an area that to be described as "dinghy" is probably complementary. Sant Andrea is warm, welcoming and the staff very efficient and helpful.
The cuisine is mainly from the sea however, it is not presented as one might expect a traditional seafood restaurant to present. Included on the menu are some Japanese and oriental influences and - there is no of "Fish 'n Chips" dish available if that's what you're looking for!
We chose different Entrees (Primo Piatti) and Main courses (Secondo Piatti); each plate was exceptionally well presented and satisfying to the palate. Our main problem was that there was too much to eat and still feel comfortable afterwards.
