Excellent location, close to the main duomo in Catania and bus station.
The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Our flight got in late and they waited for us without a problem.

The breakfast was amazing (the hosts woke up just to make everything for us- it was such a treat).
Bianca is the name of their dog :-)

We stayed at Bianca B&B in February, our last stop in Sicily before returning to a cold London at the end of a wonderful week. We stayed in fabulous B&Bs in Sicily and so had very high expectations when we arrived in Catania. What a beautiful B&B, it was just fabulous in every way and we will definitely be back to stay again when we return to Catania.

The location: 10 minutes walking from the bus and train stations. A few minutes to the main square where you will find the Duomo and the bustling market is just seconds from there. Catania has strings of narrow streets that are flanked by bars and restaurants and there are plenty within a 5minute walk from Bianca.

The B&B: Superb! The building is just stunning and we absolutely adored the decor inside the B&B, very homely and colourful. Our room was awesome. A large bathroom with a great shower, a small balcony opened out onto the front of the building looking directly at one of Catania's many churches. The bed was comfortable and the room was always warm and cosy. The breakfast was brilliant: LOVED the coffee and the fresh pastries.

The hosts: Lea and Francesco: WONDERFUL! We left feeling like they were friends and we know that one day we will return and revisit them. Lea is amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble, she is friendly and chatty and always looks after you. She recommended the most incredible restaurants to us and we will never forget the amazing cafe that sells the best Arancini in Catania! We would never have found it without Lea' help. We experienced an awful Etna trip whilst here (booked ourselves, nothing to do with the B&B). When we arrived back Lea was genuinely concerned about us and made us hot tea and came to our room to ensure that we were ok. Just wonderful: like a friend.

It has taken me ages to get around to writing this review, mainly because we just couldn't find the words to express how wonderful Bianca B&B, Lea and Francesco are. Well now I've written it, or at least tried. I would suggest that you book a stay here and go and experience their hospitality for yourself; you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much! See you guys soon!

Lea and Francesco are warm and helpful! The location is stone throw away from the main attractions. Breakfast is tastefully prepared every morning. We love the place and will definitely be back when we are in Catania next time!

My stay at B&B Bianca was absolutely magnificent. Lea & Francesco were such wonderful hosts. There were no worries that crossed my mind and I was truly able to take in all experiences and scenery. Both of them were extremely personable which made conversing easy and fun.

Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

I wish to see you both again someday.

we stayed at Bianca b&b on our first visit to Sicily. from the first minute we felt like part of the family.
we were welcomed warmly by lea & francesco the best hosts we have ever met. lea warmth and enthusiasm for people made our stay in catania memorable. francesco is so kind and efficient.
We received great tips on what to see, where to go, they gladly arrange tours and recomended
where to eat at the best restaurant in catania.
Location is excelent, in piazza san-placido, 3 minutes walking to the center(duomo, main piazza)
via etnea the main street. 3 minutes to the wonderful busy market of catania. 5 minutes to bus stopes at piazza borselino, ( buses to a lot of cities in sicily.) 4-5 minutes to bars, coffe-shops,
restaurants.
The b&b is in historicl palazzo, facing a beautiful church, renovated apartment with little elevator,
3 spacious bedrooms, beautifully decorated with all the facilitis, A.c. ,t.v, large windows with view. very confort beds, large bathrooms, very very clean !. ( lot of towels).
the breakfast is something to write about, so Yummy and plentiful. fresh bread, rolls, chesse,
yoghurts, cereals,, delicious pastries from a local pasticeria, fresh fruits, orange juice and the
best cappucino.
If you are visiting catania, b&b Bianca is defently your place to stay. we will be going there for ever. Thank you lea&francesco for yours warm hospitality and letting us to be part of yours family.

We stayed at Bianca B&B in October, after a tour through Europe. Catania has been a place I have been wanting to visit for as long as I can remember, as it is the province of where my parents came from. As we arrived at night, we were a bit wary, but once we were collected by our driver and dropped off at our B&B, we were greeted by Lea and Francesco, who proved to be more than just hosts. They would go out of their way for you and no matter what you asked, it was never too much trouble. My goal was to visit my mother's home town of Grammichele, which proved not so easy to get to, but Lea arranged for a driver to take us there, taking all the worry and stress out of it. They also arranged other tours for us and were always ready to give us directions on how to get to places or just to have a nice chat. The room we stayed in was large and spacious and a very happy place, with plenty of colour, which made it a pleasure to come back to, after a long day of being out. Breakfast every morning was made up of yummy fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery across the road, coffee and fresh fruit, accompanied by a warm smile from our hosts.
The location was great, less than 5 min walking from Piazza Duomo and plenty of local eating places to choose from. I would highly recommend this B&B, as the hosts are very warm and friendly and will go that extra mile to help you in any way. The accommodation is bright, airy and clean and location is great.
