“A pure gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

We stayed for four nights and wished we could have stayed for a month.
When you go to this Hotel, you feel as if you were staying with friends, but you never worry about imposing on them. From the individually appointed rooms to the before-dinner-drinks lovingly prepared in the small garden, this is an oasis that you will long remember.
The place is very charming and sophisticated, in an unpretentious way. This is a family property that was turned into a hotel, and has been lovingly managed since.
Lucrezia proves that you can match, and even possibly exceed, the appeal of luxury hotels while remaining affordable. It boasts a huge amount of charm, a convenient, if not impressive location and friendly, attentive yet discreet service that always makes you feel that the staff is there when you need it, but never obsequious or intrusive.
When in Sardinia, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, but those on the courtyard (not in the main building) have extra charm.

This little hotel is just full of atmosphere and lovely staff. We stayed for 4 nights during September 12 and loved every day there. The rooms are all decorated with lovely antique furniture (and if you're lucky, your room might have an olive press from the 1700s), The little courtyard and garden is magical with a pomegranate and lemon trees and lovely seating areas dotted around. Breakfast is great with excellent cakes and do avail of the evening offer of a platter of meats and cheeses, bread and local wine - delicious. As I said before the staff are lovely and so helpful.
When you're there, please visit Elvio Sulas in the next street, who sells locally produced Organic Lavender oil. If you're lucky, he might show you his little musem and wine cellar. A restaurant I can most recommend is Pesca Tore - just get the hotel to reserve a table. We will definitely be back next year!!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012 via mobile

Had a 3 night stay here very recently and was delighted with the customer care - probably the best I've ever experienced. Every request was met with a 'yes' and nothing was too much trouble from the provision of beach brollies to a return to shower and collect luggage 5 hours AFTER check out. Lucrezia has no restaurant but the proud owner, Paolo (he will share the property's heritage with you) rustled up lunch of bread, cheese and ham to eat under a fabulous fig tree. Fantastic. Please go if you find yourself in Sardinia.

The hotel itself is beautiful - tucked behind a high wall and inconspicuous door you enter a little world of calm with a beautiful courtyard - fresh figs falling off the trees and traditional rooms adorned with chintz. It has maintained its old world charm whilst providing all the modern amenities. Service was very friendly and they made restaurant recommendations/reservations, provided beach towels etc very efficiently.

The most memorable part of our stay was drinking a welcome drink in the garden and being encouraged to pick the juicy ripe figs from the huge fig tree. This hotel is a little oasis - the garden is really pretty and the rooms are cosy and beautifully decorated. I was also really impressed that they took note of my gluten intolerance offered me a choice of gluten free breads and biscuits - something that much more expensive hotels have failed to do.

The Hotel Lucrezia is charming, the rooms are all different and unique with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very close to the Hotel Lucrezia, there are magnificent beaches, some are very large, others smaller. The sand, the sea and the scenery in this area of Sardinia is stunning! You can also visit several beautiful sites in the area. The hotel staff is very friendly and very professional. I felt at home! I highly recommend this hotel especially for couples, and solos too.

Room Tip: They are all beautiful
