We initially walked past this restaurant as it did not look inviting. We decided to give it a try based on previous reviews and we're so glad we did. Once you enter, the restaurant appears empty but we were directed through two rooms to the back room where it was much livelier. In the room was the pizza oven and our table, near the back, had an excellent view - we spent the evening watching the chef stretch the dough, create the toppings and then cook the pizzas in the huge oven. We ordered calzone and the Sardinian sausage pizza - we watched these being prepared and were then served by the chef. All were well cooked and very tasty. The staff were warm and friendly and we had a great evening.
Don't be put off by outside appearances - give this lovely, low-key restaurant a go and you will not be disappointed
