A decent blend of a minimalist boutique style branded hotel, combined with very friendly and relaxed staff who help make the stay enjoyable and personal. Stayed for a week and a rental car is a must for those who want to leave the hotel to explore the island, as taxis in Sardinia are prohibitively expensive (and inconvenient for adhoc sightseeing) for more than just airport transfers. The hotel was popular, but not packed, so you never felt too crowded by the pool or the beach which helps make it more relaxing. The hotel beach is fine (much nicer than most in the south of france) but there are some incredible ones accessible by boat trip (can be booked at the hotel); or an hour away by car is Stintino, which is worth a visit. Breakfast is buffet style and has a good selection which should keep most happy. Aside from the hotel bar, there is a small café on the beachfront for lunchtime snacks, but without a car there are virtually no other options for food away from the hotel. Dinner was a tasting menu every night, which was sometimes rather too much in terms of quantity, but on the whole was a decent standard. Wine list is limited to Sardinian wines which can be a bit hit and miss. The sleazyjet from Gatwick gets you there in 2hrs, so good for Londoners who want a long weekend away. Would definitely recommend.
