“english menu missing!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

It is a very special and nice place. We recommend to visit it at least to see the decoration inside :) Pizza wasn't so great, but we tasted a brilliant sardinian dark beer. Advice to the owner: get the English menu!

“Perfect restaurant for dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

I have found this restaurant through tipadvisor and decided to try it for a dinner.
We had one of the best antipasti di mare of all times and the rest of the food was just as good.
Lemon sorbet was great even though I dont like desserts.
We have returned to this restaurant in a couple of days for another lovely dinner. We both had antipasti di mare which was different from the first time, dorada in chips perfectly fresh, gnokki with shells and vegetables and I again ordered lemon sorbet.
Very pleased with friendly service and delicious food.

“Excellent food, wonderful location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

We found this restaurant by chance on a hot sunny Sunday. We were there at lunchtime. The location is quite convenient, being located in the central Piazza Satta. The restaurant is in the top floor of a renovated old building which hosts a Tea room (nice to see a Tea room in Sardinia, for us Tea-lovers), a shop (home accessories, clothes) and other rooms with display of wines. The restaurant is nicely decorated and pleasant.
We ate starters and mains. Starters were a wild boar ham and a sea-food based dish, both delicious. As mains we had Tuna, very good, and meat cooked with local wine, outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection, and ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. But our meal stood out thanks to the use of some unexpected ingredients (at least unexpected to us) in some of the dishes: their use was very wise, enhancing flavour of the dishes. In all this, the chef demonstrated culinary mastery and creativity.
The atmosphere was quite relaxed (being a Sunday afternoon) and staff very nice and friendly, but not in the invasive way some restaurant staff have. We felt really at ease, and that does not always happen in a restaurant.
We definitively recommend this restaurant and will try to go back again.

“Great classy restaurant in Nuoro, Sardinia!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2008

By chance my daughter and I stumbled upon this little cosy little restaurant with classy interior from Milan. We came in late in the lunch service and the restaurant was almost empty.

What I assumed was the owner greated us and asked if we would like an antipasti and if it should be meat or fish.

We answered meat and got a wonderful plate of fresh cuts of hams etc. and had a great Sardinian red wine from Alghero to accompany it.

When we had finished eating we smelled a wonderful scent from the kitchen we were seated next to (the main restaurant was below). That turned out to be the sauce for our meat (that we had not ordered ourselves). The meat was a delicious cut of what I assume was beef - wonderfully tender with a delicious red wine sauce and some potatoes on the side.

I noticed a dessert that passed by our table earlier with strawberries and some cream and asked for one of those with two spoons and we were pretty full at this point. It was delicious and refreshing with the berries, a sweet cream and some bread crumbs of some sort!!

All in all an interesting experience, surprisingly delicious and what I believe must be one of the best restaurants in town.

Mid-range priced. But great value for money and total experience!

If you are in Nuoro - please try this place!
