“A good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

We spent 4 nights here and we enjoyed our stay. This hotel seems to cater more to business people but tourists are welcome and the staff was very helpful, specially Maurizio who made many reservations for us and was always a good counsellor. His advices and recommendations were very pertinent. The breakfast is served at the hotel but not dinner. The hotel is well located, near the waterfront with numerous restaurants at night, near the two main commercial streets with boutiques and close enough to the old city to walk around. Many good restaurants to enjoy close to the hotel. Rooms are a good size for European standards and well appointed.

Just got back, it was my birthday treat from a dear friend 3 nights in this hotel- it was everything you could ask for ! Location good- a short walk to restaurants, shops etc. Its a bit of a steep hill if you go out and turn left so head downhill and then double back !! you will see what I mean if you go !!! The Hotel staff are very friendly they checked us in around 3 hours early at no extra charge. The room was not huge but perfectly fine- clean, A/C fridge, hairdryer, safe, soap etc, TV with BBC world news.
Breakfast was really good-in addition to the continental usual stuff, fresh fruit, eggs, smoked salmon, cheeses, cold meats,yogurt,cereal- cannot think of anything else you would need !
Had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel. Not having dinner at the hotel is not a problem as there are numerous lovely restaurants within a very short walk.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating; the area was lovely and we were walking distance from a variety of sites. Getting around is easy, a bus to the beach and a very cheap train ride to the airport (about 2 euros). The only downside is no dinner served at hotel and it becomes difficult to adjust to Italian riposos!

We and another couple arrived at the airport via Ryan Air (WATCH FOR EXTRA CHARGES ON THAT AIRLINE.) and hired a taxi (18 Euros) to the hotel. It is in an excellent location for both walking to, and for getting busses to, everything you want to see and do, in and near Cagliari. It is modern and sleek but done well and still, somehow feels Italian. It is very clean and comfortable. It had some TV in English, which we did not require, but it is not always available in Sardinian hotels and some people would appreciate it. Breakfast was fine and the setting was bright, spacious, and pleasant.
We can not say enough about the personnel at this hotel. They went out of their way to be helpful and spent as much time as you needed to assist you with suggestions, directions, even ideas for your pleasure. In particular, I should mention a young girl, Sara, who just blew us away with her efforts to accommodate our interests and questions. She actually saved us money by arranging a different daytrip by boat than the one I had found online. It turned out to be one of the nicest days of the 24 we have spent in Italy. Two other women were also very helpful and, like Sara, seemed to enjoy helping you. Maurizio was also very helpful. Everyone spoke English, which certainly expedited things
Our friends had left an Ipad on a bus in Palermo. when we explained what had happened, these people tried SO hard to reach the unreachable bus company (emails, phone calls, every effort) and in the end, thought of sending them to the Apple store to see if it could be tracked for location.
I happened to get sick on the third day of our visit and the chambermaid was so sweet to me. I felt badly, having made a mess of the sink (was lucky I got that far) to the point of clogging it. She got the plumbers, warned them to be quiet, opened the windows and just generally, made me feel cared about. My husband had to insist that she accept a tip and even the plumbers did not seem to be looking for one. We would recommend this hotel to ANYone.

Room Tip: 402 and 406 had some views of port. I think 402 was a little larger but I suspect all the rooms are...

We stay here for a number of reasons.
It is in the centre of Cagliari with nearby parking. All the great streets like the Via manno are within walking distance as is the lovely harbour. There are numerous little cafes around for midday and evening meals. The city can be walked easily and if you want to go further a taxi or bus is great. The Sards We find are extremely helpful.
The breakfast is excellent and caters to all tastes.
The hotel is clean, beds comfortable and the suites are great if you want to entertain friends.
Service is great.
A good reliable and friendly hotel, just what is needed for business or holiday.

Room Tip: High rooms have great views over the city

We keep coming back to this hotel, modern, clean, efficient, very near the centre and the Marina .
It has a covered garage which is very useful as parking is impossible in that part of town.
Really good breakfast. Fast and efficient service

Room Tip: higher floors have a view of the sea

We stayed here for a work conference. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The breakfasts were great and the service at breakfast was excellent. The only thing is to let the front desk to know you have arrived if you have a car so that they can direct you to the car park - it is tough to find a parking spot nearby. The hotel is a short walk up to the Bastion St Remy and old city of Cagliari. It is also a short walk to the waterfront and the more touristy areas of Cagliari as well.
