“Avarage Old Fashion Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

Well....this is not a hotel from my dreams. It's not the cheapest place, but far away from city center. Old fashion inside. Elevators sometimes do not work. This place needs to be refreshed or rebuild . I chose this place due to some discount I got, otherwise I would not take place.

We stayed here only one night, luckily - had to catch an early flight .. and after driving around for almost 1 hour looking for it - as it truly is out of the way , without any signage - when we arrived there it looked like an abandoned hospital. Finally finding our room through the labyrinth of corridors - we had to stop and try and figure out what the brown and beige carpet was doing all the way up the wall ! the bathroom was a small after thought of a room made out of plastic partition wall and it really was the kind of bathroom you want to shower with your flip flops on!
The bedroom furniture was either found on the footpath or bought in bulk at a hotel furniture liquidation sale.. nothing matched, fine, but it all came together like it was just thrown in there, no thought intended.. horrible. The cleanliness was dubious, the carpet (on the floor this time) stunk and i made a point of turning on the low lights as any stark brightness would only highlight further the flaws and I had to stay there for at least another 6 hours before my flight!!
Whatever you do .. do not book a room here ! Event the advertised free wifi (which could have been a saving grace) was not free!

Room Tip: Read above ,, there are no good rooms

Even if you have an early morning flight do not stay in this hotel unless you love dirty and not clean rooms, 30 years old furniture and walls, floors covered with same old synthetic carpeting. The hotel doesn't only seems dirty from outside it is awfull inside also. So your choice. I would not recommend it even for my enemy.

Room Tip: I would avoid it very much.

I would really suggest not to stay in this hotel. It is the most horrible place i've ever been. we booked this hotel for one night and when we get into the room we were just shocked: old, dirty room, dusty carpet. everything looked very unsanitary, small flies in the bathroom. we returned to reception and asked for another room. the receptionist was not friendly from the first time we met. he was looking into the computer and chewing gum all the time while we talk with him. he gave us another key (after convinced himself that the room was really dirty), but another room was even worse. it was non smoking room (at least there was signed as non smoking), but it smelled of cigarettes . so we left the hotel and find a new place to stay.

The hotel was very clean and well situated for me as I was only on business at the airport, however, I have to agree with previous commenters, it was like something out of the 80's. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly enough. The breakfast was very nice and had a wide selection of continental items. On the downside, they have no free wifi and the cost is €8/ day...

We stayed for a night in October, choosing this hotel due to an early flight next morning. The hotel was fine. Three things we did not like - parking lot was dirty. This gives an impression like the hotel is closed. The second thing was an A/C which apart strong noise did not cool down at all, and the third thing was the towels, which were from thin cotton and did not suck any water. Apart from that, the room was clean and well designed in 80's. Breakfast was very good with variety of warm and cold food. We would come back.

This is an older hotel, i kept thinking it would have been great in the 80's.
it's a good location, close supermarkets and the motorway.
I didn't see where we were staying as a friend booked it for us.
We arrived just after 2pm and were greeted by a lovely gentleman. (not that i really understood what he was saying as i don't speak much italian) but was polite and happy.
We had a twin room. It's very basic, exactly what i would expect for a 3 star hotel. nice and clean, very simple. I was a bit surprised there was no mini fridge or even an iron for your clothes (but then again i am use to the ones that we have in Australia).
I was only in Cagliary for one night as i'd travelled down for the weekend from Arzchena.
I was happy. 56Euros is not expensive for a hotel. To ciprian181 who left a review before me. If you want to be treated like a king then pay the money and go to a 5 star hotel where you receive that service.
Great Stay & Great Value.
