“Perfect location to old town and ferry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

We spent one night here after arriving on the ferry from mainland Italy and it was welcomed after an average ferry trip. We booked the suite which was absolutely lovely. The inn is perfectly located for walking to the old town of Cagliari and the owner gave us excellent instructions on what to look at given we only had an afternoon in the town before driving north to Alghero.

We spent two nights here at the end of May, the first at the beginning of our week's 'back roads' tour of Sardinia and the second night at the end. It was perfectly located for walking into the city and castle areas and Luca explained how to use the parking meters to our best advantage, which was really useful. The rooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished and were very clean. Breakfasts were very good with fresh home-made cakes each day which was a lovely touch. Wonderful hosts and a lovely place to stay.

This renovated house shows all the Italian genius for mixing stylish and rustic elements in creating a delightful and comforting atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful and inviting rooms. Luca was so warm, friendly and inspired in his recommendations for restaurants and shops that our sadness about coming to the end of our trip was changed back into elation at discovering the places he mentioned. We realized our trip was not over yet.

a perfect little hotel in the centre of town run by great people. lovely rooms, all modern inside and cosy, clean and spacious, breakfast was great with fresh pastries and coffee, but what makes the big difference is the wonderful owners who make you feel very welcome and happy to help and give you local tips.

Room Tip: upstairs is probably a bit quieter than downstairs.

My sister and I went for a short break during the holiday week at the beginning of January. A lot of restaurants and shops were closed, but Luca had great recommendations for one of the best meals we had during our stay. Both Luca and Christina were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help with any requests along with taking extra care with breakfast.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to almost every historical site in Cagliari and use it as a central point to explore.

My partner and myself spent 17 great days here including Christmas Day. The hotel is located in a historical and interesting part of town. The owners are really helpful and accommodating, the rooms are stylish, spacious and comfortable. We loved this place and used it is a base to travel around Sardinia and also to visit the superb museums nearby.
