“Central B and B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

This is a great B and B for exploring Cagliari. It is superbly placed for shopping, eating and seeing the sites.
The owners are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast can be taken at a nearby cafe- this is highly recommended.
It is a great place to stay and hopefully one day we will return.
Other reviewers have commented on the noise and we would agree on this, but putting that aside it is a great place to stay, full of character.

Location: in the main commercial street of the town. OK to walk, but difficult for parking.

Overview: The B&B it’s not really visible when you are looking for it, although it has a photo in booking of the outside, but… still, it get lost between the other old building.

The facade, is not the best, nearly you can regret to have booked here but the interior is the opposite.

Old/new style re-furniture rooms.

Building well take care of and clean.

Shower: nice full water, quick hot.

Towels: nice, new, clear and nice smell

BED: nice mattress quite new.

Bed sheets: the textile is not 100% cotton, but reasonable ok.

Breakfast: Italian breakfast, for those who does not know what that means… and you are diabetic! Bring your own food.

Served on the terrace from the building. Nice morning feeling J

You get: espresso coffee, which is nice, hot milk for you coffee latte, juice from tetra-pack, jam, nuttella, croissant and toasted bread from the supermarket commercial packages. No fruit.

Not really luxurious, but all together it’s a good start form the day.

Personal: owner helpful and kind, we had a problem with the room, and he find us another room from a friend of him, some streets away. So the stay was perfect. No complaint about it.

Parking: since is a touristic area, is difficult to park in all the streets, full full full… and is you find a parking for your you will need to pay.

Neighborhood: family leaving area, not dangerous at all. Save feeling.

Restaurants: some pizzerias on the main street but better go to the center (just for the fun) food quality it’s good in both locations.

Location is great. Close to everything - restaurant street, shopping. Our room was well-decorated but no windows, no fresh air. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything that happening in the neighbours room. Breakfast includes coffee and amazing croissant.

I was absolutely disgusted with this BB. I stayed for one night and demanded a refund. The owner Francessco robbed me out of 150 euros even tho booking.com confirm he should have charged me for one night. When i asked for breakfast he said no, even tho his wife has text me a few hours later and asked if i wanted tokens for my breakfast. No international plugs where available, the room was soooo cramped dont be fooled by the pics provided on the website. You could hear all conversations from the other rooms and no tea or coffee was available. The pictures I have provided speak for themselves. The next dayI booked myself into hotel italia and had the time of my life.

This b&b is centrally located to everything you would need if visiting Cagliari: old city a few mins away, shopping area 5mins, port/marina area 10/15mins. The rooms are cleaned every day including a change of towels. The rooms are tastefully decorated but lacking in storage space. Bathroom is very small but shower modern and powerful. The biggest disadvantage is the noise that can be heard between the rooms i.e one can hear when someone is in the toilet, showering as well as hearing personal conversations.
