“Lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for three nights. Lovely rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, offered us an umbrella to take to the beach if we wanted. Pool on the roof is quite small but did the job. Very clean and modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional look with a huge selection of sky channels which you can change to English easily. Water in the mini bar was reasonably priced at €1 a bottle. Big supermarket nearby maybe 3 minute walk, staff at reception would be more than happy to point you in the direction as well as mark places on the map to see and places to eat. Overall very happy with our stay and if we were to return we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the old town, making it easibly accessible to 'the action' without having to tolerate associated noise and disturbance.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly; the rooms were spotlessly clean and the bathrooms elegant.

The breakfast was amazing and the main sitting area provided an ideal area of relaxation for the last drink before bed!

Despite the ever-changing weather, I got an excellent tan on the rooftop terrace, which was great for an afternoon snooze.

A lovely experience, which I can very much recommend to anyone visiting Alghero.

Located in a quiet part of Alghero but only 10 minutes walk from the sea. We found a warm welcome & helpful friendly staff. The Hotel is not too large & manages too retain a personal touch. Our room was clean comfortable & well appointed with a hair dryer which my wife found useful. We stayed in May & were able to use the plunge pool on the roof it being a nice place to relax.
The provided buffet breakfast was good & I thought had something for everyone including a little fresh fruit too.We enjoyed the bus tour to Capo Caccia Grotte di Nettuno, the walk down many steep steps to the Caves there will give you some exercise & an appetite. Or the easier way would be to take the boat trip avoiding the steps if that sounds too tiring.
We would stay at this hotel again if in the area.

We drove our car into Alghero and got lost trying to locate the hotel. We finally did locate it tucked away in a quiet residential area of Algehero but very close, within walking distance of all the sights. The only downside was the parking, there is not very much but we managed to find a spot a couple blocks away. The service is excellent at this hotel, very consistent. We had 2 double rooms for 4 persons. They were on the 2nd floor serviced by a elevator. The rooms are modern and spacious, the showers were very good and the beds comfortable. The staff even filled all our water bottles with ice before we left, nothing was too much for them, we felt very welcome. The breakfasts were good, with variety of items. As with many places in Italy we cooked our own hard boiled eggs. It was funny to watch the front desk fellow with a suit and tie, hop on a motorcycle and take off for lunch as we were leaving, such a common sight in Italy........ I recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

The hotel is located in the city. The beach and the old town can be reached within a short walk of 10 minutes. The hotel is very clean and has good breakfast. However, you have to boil your eggs yourself which is really complicated with the machine they have because there is no secure way to find out how long the eggs need to be in the machine. We tried it several times and were never successful although we habe no problems with cooking eggs at home...

We stayed at Hotel Domomea in April of last year whilst we were planning our wedding in Alghero. Its a great little hotel near the centre of town and close to all the amenities that Alghero has to offer. The plunge pool on the roof is a nice added extra. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern and we had seveal of our wedding guests who stayed at the hotel and all were very happy with the rooms and service. We would most definitely recommend. Excellent breakfast too!

We went with our Three children for a vacation in italy, Sardenia. The triple room was spacious and especially the bathroom. As everybody has stated on this review and this is a reason why we went the service was exceptional! The hotel is very well located to the coastline fort and everything is within walking distance. Big tip visit Neptunes Cave and the beach in stintino, la pelota.

Room Tip: Get the triple room!
