“A special countryside resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

In the middle of countryside, in a quiet land away from traffic and noise an old local building , masseria , guest you with a high level of comfortable services, very good and elegant rooms (better to pay little more and choose the suites) with rocky roofs and walls, good local furnitures, tipical apulian local products ( maded directly from owners as wine and virgin olive oil ). A vey nice restaurant , a pool and a lot of green around will make your stay really like to be at home.

Room Tip: suite n. 5 was very good but there is a suite with jacuzzy just behind king bed

I find it difficult to believe the high ratings of others. We were end of season, and although perfectly 'ok', this place is nothing special. Compared to the rest of Puglia the service was poor and staff, altho polite, not partic helpful. Our room was sparse and under furnished, we had a suite missing a common area (the space was there but no furniture), no bed side lamps. The garden ok and pool welcome, but with a little more effort good be much better. B'fast excellent, restaurant closed (despite no info on website) and I was charged 30euros too much, don't book directly with them.

Dear Madam,

first of all I wish to thank you for your review.
It is important for us to know the opinion of the guests, although negative, especially to understand what we have to improve to offer an excellent service.
Just a clarification: the price was correct, maybe you found on internet a last minute rate, because we use to apply it for the unsold rooms week by week.
With the hope to have you as our welcome guest again,

Kindest regards

Every bit as good as the reviews promised. We stayed for two nights after we flew to Brindisi at the start of a Puglia holiday, and immediately booked again for the night before we flew home. It's about 15 minutes from the airport without going into the town (make sure you take a satnav or book one with the hire car!).
The surroundings outside the estate look less than promising as you approach from the airport (open fields with a few ruined buildings and some seriously potholed roads), but once inside it is great. Very nicely renovated, a pretty courtyard, and a relaxing pool area. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room, very friendly service, straightforward but delicious food and very acceptable own-label negroamaro and primitivo wines.
Good base for visiting Alberobello, Locorotondo and Ostuni. The new archaeological museum and dig site at Egnazia is excellent, although there's as yet little information in English.

Room Tip: We had room 11 for both visits, dining on the veranda outside our own door.

Took a bit of finding as we did not have a sat-nav in the hire car. Reception staff very friendly and helpfull. Lovely quiet setting and rooms are large though having the bathroom downstairs from the bedroom was a bit tiresome. Good Breakfast and good, but limited, evening meal. Staff did
recommend an excellant restaurant in nearby town. Would certainly recommend a short stay here when travelling round Southern Italy. Tea / coffee facilities in the rooms would be nice.

Room Tip: opt for a junior suite, it's worth the extra.

Nice agriturismo near Brindisi, around 10 km away from Brindisi airport. Agriturismo with every comfort needed (swimming pool, WiFi) in a very nice and well maintained familiy owned and - run farm. Very nice and charming service. The restaurant serves a very good 4 course menu for dinner. Worth mentioning, the Masseria's own wine (white, rosé and very tasty red Primitivo) and olive oil. Overall a highly recommendable Masseria.

A great place to relax and stay. All the staff so helpful. Anything you ask for was done. The best place I have stayed in for a holiday for a number of years.

Only wish there was the facility to make tea in the morning when waking up. Tea and coffee can be sent by room service but it is not the same as getting it organised ones self. Other wise the place is 100% and we enjoyed our stay 100%.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a tour of southern Italy and before we headed home from Brindisi airport (which is only 20 mins away). It's a lovely old manor house on a farm located within olive groves and vines. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and it was good although limited choices (2 options per course) and you need to decide at breakfast time, service was average. There is no honesty bar but there are fridges in the room with soft drinks available. The pool is spectacular! On the second night we headed into Mesagne to eat.
