This is a pastry/coffee house, very old and very popular with the locals. This tiny place is right off the Signori Piazza, looking straight at the Basilica Palladiana with tables under the archway as well as in the square right next to the statue of Andrea Palladio. Ask for a macchiatone and a plate of the classic sfogliatine (finger shaped) airy light butter cookies, a must when in the Veneto region. The hours here are a bit odd, they close around noon or one pm and reopen after 4pm. The interior of this little jewel is still in the old custom made wooden shelves behind the glass counters, and has a wonderful air of times past. I recommend this as one of the best coffee stops in town so do not miss it and try the pastries, they are divine.
