5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

We had the luxury of staying at Villa Beatrice for five nights in October. Simone greeted us with his infamous enthusiasm and passion for life and all things Verona. He helped to get us settled and then sat with us for more than an hour while we discussed our potential itinerary (which included great tips on where to park safely and for free, restaurant recommendations, etc.). Simone also catered to my unique dietary quirks and had some of my favorite foods and beverages available that afternoon and for breakfast the following morning. He then left on his delayed honeymoon and we were treated to have his brother, Christian, be our host for the remainder of our stay. Christian is the yin to Simone’s yang. Simone is effusive; Christian is quiet. And they are both phenomenal chefs. I absolutely loved waking to hear Christian busily readying breakfast. We were completely spoiled by his coffee, cappuccino, freshly made juices, fruit salads, homemade yogurt and porridge (which we enjoyed for two mornings because we craved it from the morning before). The Villa is beautiful … inside and out. Our room was large and bright and the bed was extremely comfortable. I realize that this review is a bit of a mixed metaphor because Christian assumed the host role for his brother, but in the day and a half that Simone was with us, I can tell you that he is beyond attentive to the needs of his customers. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast previous to this; if all were run with this professionalism and care, we might get hooked. And our five days in Verona at B&B Villa Beatrice with Simone and Christian also helped us to fall in love with Italy. Thanks guys. It was perfect.

Room Tip: The Oseleta Room. Upstairs, great bathroom, wonderfully serene view.

Stayed for one night, but wished we stayed longer. Simone is an excellent host, and the breakfast was good with entertaining conversation. The view is excellent as well, and the rooms are spacious. Simone provides excellent recommendations for sightseeing in Verona if needed.

We had planned to stay one night at Villa Beatrice in our first experience at a B & B.
We found the facilities to be beautiful and Simone was a most hospitable host. Simone allowed us to extend our stay to two nights and we regretted that our schedule would not allow us to stay longer.

This cute, little hotel is located in Verona, and it was one of the most lovely places I`ve ever stayed in. The friendly staff really made us feel like home, and the services at Villa Beatrice are flawless. The decorations in the rooms we stayed in, and throughout the hotel, were beautiful, giving this place a very cozy and intimate vibe. Another plus for the villa is the lovely garden it has. I know I personally enjoyed it highly because it really made me relax. Overall, our stay was great, and I believe it`s one of best choices you can find in this area.

Hard to believe that a one night stay at this bed and breakfast could turn out to be one of the highlights of our three week holiday! The host, Simone, has definitely figured out what it takes to be the best in the bed and breakfast business. However, it is not just a business for him - his passion is people and his country. Despite the fact that he was getting married the following day - we were still made to feel like a priority for him. It was a great challenge (albeit a fun one) to locate the B&B - it was like finding a gem, a piece of tranquility in the hills a short distance above Verona. It is a well kept establishment with a great host who offers hospitality that is well beyond any expectations. Simone is the best ambassador for the local region as well as his country. We left with a strong desire to return.

We stayed at Villa Beatrice September 23 – 26, 2013. Not even ***** hotels can match the quality of service of this B&B. Simone, the proprietor takes his job of hospitality provider very seriously. He was always punctual (even when on the day of our departure we asked for breakfast to be served at 7 AM), efficient, professional and cheerful.

Simone and Angelica got married only three days prior to our stay there. So, we had some delicacies from their wedding table: thinly sliced, most delicious porchetta, delectable culatello… Simone’s fresh fruit and vegetable juices are incomparable. He will prepare for you eggs any way you’d like it. He speaks very good English and is full of valuable advice of what to see and where to eat in Verona.

There is an Italian word for a guy like this. They say that he is “bravo”. It’s not easy to translate. It’s cool, and nice and eager to please, well… it’s BRAVO!

If you would like to get a glimpse of authentic Italian life, to bring home with you a snapshot of young Italian couple’s dreams and aspirations, this place beats any hotel, any time.

We stayed at the Villa Beatrice for 4 nights. The Drive from the airport through the city, then away from the city into the hills was promising, as it meant we would have a good rest from city life but could pop down the hill for tourist stuff and dinner when we wanted. Our stay was such a pleasant one and not just at the B&B but in Verona, thanks to such a good, attentive and helpful host, Simone. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as it was good quality, local and home made food. Simone's fruit and veg juices are a great start to any day. We went on to a different city after our stay and truly missed and longed for the breakfast from Villa Beatrice. The room, bathroom, general areas and patios are clean and tidy and the grounds are just lovely. We wanted to stay somewhere simple, pleasant and restful and Villa Beatrice gave us that with absolutely no issues and made us feel right at home through out. I hope Villa Beatrice will be around for a long time.
