We came to the villa during the time it's open to the public and were treated to a two-hour personal tour by one of the villa's owners, ending with a wine tasting including cheese and meats. Spent lovely time in the lake house learning about the cultural and family history of the villa and vineyards. A magical place which the current owners are restoring to possibly better condition than when first built. We did not get to visit the wine "caves", but this is where the first Amarone wine was accidentally created. Great strolling in the vineyards surrounding the villa as well.
