Very convenient hotel for the opera and all parts of Verona. Piazza Bra where the arena is located is only five minutes stroll up the road. There is a bus from the airport for €4.50 which stops at the station, only a ten minutes easy walk from the hotel and town centre. Staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was very well presented. The rooms have airconditioning and ours had a balcony as well with views over the city to the mountains.

Wonderful hotel, simply. Very clean, stylish, efficient and exceptionally well staffed at front desk and throughout. The location puts you just a few walking blocks from the arena while at the same time, not difficult to find from the autostrata if you arrive by car. Overnight parking is available for a small extra charge.

We stayed at the Hotel Verona from 13th Aug to 16 Aug 2006. The location is excellent (about 10 min walk from main bus terminal) right by the hub Piazza Bra. The check in was the easiest I have ever experienced, no paperwork, no waiting just walked in and was handed my key. The room is bright, minimal, spacious with a fabulous bathroom (double shower, no bath but who needs one). The room had a plasma tv on the wall and SKY tv (great if you like the Simpsons)! Staff were efficient and let us wonder in and out as we saw fit. The city itself was great, would recommend Il Desco restaurant for a special occasion or any restaurant on the Piazza Bra. On another note, we did not use taxi's at all and saved a fortune, the local bus route was excellent, and at only £2 to get from Verona to Lake Garda was well worth it (taxi would have been £65).

If visiting Verona, the Brescia Airport has a bus service to the centre of town in about 1hr and if you take the number 11 blue bus (just outside the hotel) you can get to Garda in 1hr.

Excellent location on the main route into Verona from the main rail station, which is only a 10 minutes walk away. The decoration is modern and pleasant and the breakfast was above average for a hotel of this star rating. Staff pleasant and efficient.
