We stayed in the Due Torri for two nights in Sept 2003. The hotel's position close to the Piazza D'Erbe would be hard to beat for walking round the streets of Verona, and its lobby and restaurant offer quiet elegance which veered a little to the austere. Rooms were variable - we saw a couple that were dark and uninviting and had to request brighter and better decorated alternatives. Breakfast fine, hotel service satisfactory. Overall a quiet, refined but somewhat sterile hotel balanced by its excellent location.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Venice. Supposed to have a junior suite but I am sure that they over booked and placed us in a deluxe room instead - great normal room, but terrible if supposed to be a suite. Good sized bathroom and good breakfast. Location is very good but a little noisy. Recommended but do not book the suite.

We stayed there for our wedding in Verona recently and it was absolutely splendid. Wooden floors, marble baths, helpful and courteous people...the list goes on.However, I do have a small complaint. The bacon at the breakfast buffet is too dry and there is only scrambled egg. It would have been better if we had a wider choice.

We stayed at the Due Torri (two towers) Hotel Baglioni on New Year's Eve 2002. The hotel room was well decorated, comfortable, and spacious. The location is very convenient to all main attractions and major squares of Verona. The concierge was courteous and rather helpful. They suggested that we head out to the arena square for the fireworks, and they made sure we got to the train station on time even though their hotel computer/ credit card system broke down. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for understated elegance and extreme comfort in a very romantic city!
