“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

We were late arriving and the staff stayed on so that we could still check in which was great. Our room was beautiful! Some street noise could be heard but we still slept well. Breakfast was ok. B&B in the heart of Verona's old city. They allowed us to leave our baggage in the B&B for most of the following day -very helpful!

We chose this hotel based on the price and location. We hadn't checked trip advisor before we stayed so had no idea what to expect but i couldnt agree more with the previous comments from other guests.
We felt so welcome when we arrived. Mrs Lucia was so attentive and helpful on our check in. Whilst she speaks very little english ( and can provide somebody to translate over the phone) there was no need atall. She was so clear in explaining everything to us and going through how to use things. In our room there was also a list of 11 things you need to see in Verona which we felt was a personal touch. We actually visited 5 on the list and were not dissapointed. The room was spotless, bed was very comfortable and the windows in our room opened out onto the street below which was a nice touch. There was also a fridge with free drinks in which again was a lovely touch we felt.
For breakfast there was a large selection to choose from and also a little box full of Italian croissants and little pastries which we thought was a lovely touch.
We are currently travelling around Europe and have stayed in many hotels and it was lovely to have such a personal touch in this one. This is something all the other hotels we have stayed at have lacked.
If we do go back to Verona, we will without doubt book at this hotel again!

We had one night in Verona and chose la Torre because of its location. It is a great place to stay - the standard of room was that of a 5* hotel. The whole place was spotless. The staff could not do enough for us to make our experience of Verona unforgettable. We had an amazing stay in such a sort time!

We stayed at this B&B one night in August after a week in a 5 star mountain resort and we did not sense the difference! Located in the luxury shops area of the city, this structure offers nice rooms decorated with a combination of antique and modern forniture. Our room was new and provided with all hotel facilities such as air conditioning, lcd tv, safe and minibar. Breakfast was a fantastic surprise: for every room the owner buys a big box of freshly baked croissants and other sweets. Very satisfying experience.

We were so lucky to end up staying here for two nights after a total mix up with our booked accomodation. The room was newly refurbished with delightful interior decoration. The room was airconditioned and spacious, with a fridge, and large bathroom. Our host owner was kind and intelligent. She epitimised what one imagines as a true example of Italian hospitality. We could choose between a breafast at our room or a breafast at a first class patisserie and enjoyed both options. Although our host didn't speak English she was able to get assistance from a young lady. We enjoyed the experience of talking a little Italian and the language was not a barrier. The place has an exceptional location in the heart of the old city of Verona in a cobblestoned street and very close to good shopping options. For anyone going to the Opera this place is ideal being less than 5 minutes walk to L'Arena. I think we were one of the first to stay here and that is why there are no other reviews. You won't get a better B & B in my opinion.
