“Nice little cafe/winebar by the river”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

Great soup! Nice, cosy place with a terrace looking on to the RIver Adige serving decent, cheap food with charming service.

“Lovely view from the terrace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

We stopped for lunch at Cappa Cafe while visiting Verona and we were seated outside on a lovely terrace overlooking the Ponta Pietra. The interior was equally inviting, but it was such a lovely day outside that we thought that we'd take advantage of it.
Our meals came promptly and we were all happy with our choices.
This is a lovely, quiet retreat, near the Duomo and away from the crowds.

“Simple and good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Very good experience. If you want to escape the buzz of the Piazzas then go here. Had lunch here two days running and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful - thanks for accommodating my lack of Italian. Its not fancy and has a very easy going vibe. The vino della casa rosso was superb for those that like their wine. The polenta with cod was delicious. I'd easily go back here.

“Nice place to eat away from hustle and bustle of tourists.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We stumbled upon this place on our first day in verona close to a lovely bridge and almost overlooking the river. What appealed to my fiance and I was it had a lovely atmosphere right by water in a quiet area not to far from main squares. It was reasonably priced, I had best margarita pizza for 6.50euros approx and fiance had a decent portion of beef stew for around 10 to 12 euros. We had two cocktails to start which were all 6.50 each. Nice spot for people watching the locals and see people go by on their scooters. (We sat outside) The bell on the church opposite cafe was ding donging for over 5 mins but just added to atmosphere. Nothing wrong with the service. Waitress was very on to it and service was much better than some places we have visited in Italy. I would definitely go here again!
