“riverside Melanzane alla Parmigiana”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

We were happy to stumble upon this restaurant, because they had fantastic Melanzane alla Parmigiana. The service was hurried and a bit frazzled, but if you have some time it's a nice little place.

Lunch with a bottle of water for two, was less than 30€.

There are two very different sections to this restaurant. The front room, which is visible from the street is rustic, while the back room is a bit more casual. Don't get the table towards the door at the front, because people will constantly use that instead of the side door and squeeze you into the corner.

“Disappointing service and food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We decided to eat dinner here after passing by and reading the menu and liking the look of the place. The main part of the cafe was busy when we entered, but we were directed to another dining room to the side in which we were the only diners. After waiting for some time we were attended to by the kitchen hand who provided us with menus. Eventually a waitress came and took our food and drinks order. We ordered some bruschetta and a pizza to start and decided not to order more as we were disappointed with the food. We were largely left to our own devices and ultimately decided to move on elsewhere in the hope of finding more friendly and helpful service.

“Great location & food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

The Melanzane alla Parmigiana was excellent, eaten on the little terrace overlooking the river. This was a great find and worth visiting for the good food and friendly staff, oh and the free wifi.

“Bright modern and good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

This year we paid three visits here in our stay in Verona, two at lunchtime to have a drink and to cool off in the efficient air conditioning. Decided to have dinner here one Friday evening, we ate inside due to the 36oC heat outside. We had an enjoyable aperitif, good food and a couple of glasses of wine for the two of us the price was about 55euro. Staff were attentive and although they were busy we did not notice any delay. This is Italy were a meal is to be enjoyed at leisure so for us two hours is a reasonable time to enjoy the food and drinks. The only downside I noticed was the fumes from the kitchen got a bit overpowering at times but this was a minor point.. I would eat there again.
