This was the second time that we stayed in the Villa and again we enjoyed our stay very much. This is not a standard BB as you find many in Italy. It is a very special place, an old family home
run by two charming ladies, Ludovica and Chiarastelle Sagramoso who inherited the place from their father only a couple of years ago. This is also what makes the place so special. Not only are
the ladies the most friendly and caring people we ever met in a BB, they also look diligently after their property. Everything is exteremly well maintained. You really feel like living in an old Villa, with a huge entrace hall and all the sitting rooms left in their original style, with big armchairs etc. There is a big sea water pool in the huge park situated behind the Villa and the garden continues into some wonderful vineyards. You can reach all the famous vineyards of the Valpolicella, Soave and Amarone Areas in 2o minutes and it is also very easy to reach Venice. We stayed in a big appartment comprising 2 rooms. they are furnished in old Italian style - excellent beds we found. If you want to grasp the feeling how it must have been for the Venetians living in those huge wonderful Villa many years ago, Villa Sagramoso is the place to go. BTW: breakfast is prepared by the ladies themselffes. They only buy local products and the cheese cake in the morning is divine.
