Found Hotel Leopardi at the last minute when we decided to add a night at the opera in verona to our trip. It was out of the city center but we had bought a "Verona card", best value ever, that included use of public buses so we were able to take a bus from the train station to the Hotel, then the Hotel to the city center quite easily. The hotel also offered a shuttle to and more importantly, from the opera. Not sure how we would of gotten home so late at night with out the shuttle. The hotel is very nice, like staying at a nice hotel in the United States. Not a lot of charm or uniqueness but a nice change of pace after staying at bed and breakfasts across italy. Breakfast was included and had a huge variety of food. Would have no problem staying again, but would look for a place within walking of the city center first.
