“A faultless find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

We spent 6 nights here in excessive summer heat and our room was beautifully cool. Nicola is an exceptional host and Rosa an outstanding manager. We left feeling we had made two new friends. They made us feel that this was our home. Located in a busy area, we were never conscious of the street noises. Breakfast was beautifully served in the quaintest area with Rosa's special baked delights, different every day. Nicola's mother, an architect, has managed the restoration beautifully. Free off-street parking was a bonus.

Room Tip: The room at the top with access to a lovely garden and unique and cool cave sitting room is exceptio...

We stayed here as a group of 7 and had the place to ourselves. It was lovely and quiet, hidden away but only a short walk to the city centre. The staff were very helpful and passionate about what they do. Nicola was fantastic and arranged a lovely day trip to the Allegrini Vineyard for us. The garden and cave at the back made for an attractive setting for us to work and relax. I would really recommend Casa & Naturale

We stayed at this lovely B&B the first week in September. Everything the past reviews said was right and more. Rodica is the heart and soul of the place and she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. My partner has a gluten allergy and when she learned of that, at breakfast the next morning there were a plethora of gluten free items, plus Rodica made gluten free crepes as well. The breakfast is the best of any we have found in Italy and the garden room and grounds are really fantastic. Very peaceful. Our only disappointment was that because there were just the two of us, Nicola was not able to arrange for a wine tour in the region. All and all a wonderful experience and we hope to return soon.

Room Tip: The garden room is up several flights of stairs but well worth it.

When I booked this B&B for our family (kids 7 and 9), I e-mailed (a week before) and asked if they had space. Nicola (the owner) e-mailed to say yes, he did. After a few questions, I asked if he needed a credit card to hold it and his response was 'I don't need anything, the room is yours.' It was a great start, very friendly and warm and trusting. When we got there, Rodica was waiting outside (it is easy to walk right by this property) and when she saw us across the street, she waved us over and greeted us very warmly, introducing herself to us, to our kids and wanting to know their names. It was very special, very warm. She showed us our room which was gorgeous (we had the one without the grotto which was big enough for our family). It was a beautifully decorated, gorgeous space with a big, clean bathroom and it was ready for us with teddy bears on the beds for the kids and magazines to read, cold water and a basket of fruit. You could just see the care that was put into creating the space and preparing it for our arrival with the kids. The location is a couple of blocks from the center and Nicola and Rodica had bikes ready for us to use almost before we were ready to head out. We slept great - all of us and breakfast was the best we had during out two week tour. Rodica made fresh crepes and a warm apple pastry, delicious coffee, juices (all organic) cheeses, ham, jams and spreads and really, anything you could imagine. Much better than a typical Italian hotel breakfast. If you wanted anything or said you liked something, Rodica was there to give you more and as we left she even gave the kids kisses. It was just a very warm, wonderful place to stay- much more than just somewhere to sleep for the night. It was definitely a part of the Verona experience. I'm only sad we had one night there and not more but we will be back when we are in Verona again. I would definitely recommend it over any hotels in the area.

My wife, 6 month old daughter, and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa & Natura 2 weeks ago. I would just like to echo what so many of the other reviewers have already said. The courtyard and rooms are just as beautiful as in the pictures. Robica was a wonderful host! She had a fresh breakfast ready every morning. And even went the extra mile for another guest when she found out that he had a gluten allergy. The next morning he had an assortment of gluten free breads and cakes to choose from. Trust in her recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting in or around Verona. Every recommendation far exceeded our already high expectations for Italian cuisine, and were much better than the restaurants we sampled on our own.

Other features which we loved about Casa & Natura:
- Free bikes for touring the city! And they were even nice bikes, complete with baskets and Brooks leather seats.
- Parking in a private and secure courtyard.
- Robica was wonderful with our young daughter! Even holding her as we loaded up the car before leaving.

Looking forward to the next time!!

I recently stayed at the Casa & Natura Breviglieri B & B with my husband for 4 nights to go to the opera and as a celebration for my 40th birthday. The whole experience was amazing. Rodica who works there was fantastic. Very welcoming and always on hand to help or give us any info we needed. Although my birthday was in February we went in June to celebrate and to see the opera, Nicola (the owner) had Rodica welcome us to our room with a bottle of chilled prosecco and a strawberry cake ( made by Rodica ). We had the garden room, which was very clean and spacious, and it had a garden even though it was on the third floor! We went in the middle of a heatwave so the cave at the bottom of the garden was a welcome retreat. Lovely and cool! We would highly recommend this B & B as it is in a nice area just 15 minute walk into the centre of Verona and the restaurant recommendations given by Rodica were spot on. The B & B is secured by an electric gate and the public transport is very cheap and easy to use with a bus stop just round the corner. Fantastic!!!

Room Tip: No aircon so if you like to be cool at night opt for the ground floor room but if you like to have t...

After spending our honeymoon in Italy 8 years ago my husband and i were keen to return. Casa & Natura was the perfect weekend retreat and only a few minutes walk or bike ride into the city center. The hotel felt secure with a gated entrance, and going into a beautiful lush courtyard where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The natural furnishings within the rooms are of a high specification and compliment the hotels natural/organic ethos well. The owners were lovely, and were so helpful. They were able to provide us with train times for our day trip to Lake Garda, and recommended some lovely places to eat in the city of Verona. The breakfast provided was delicious. Home baked breads and pastries provided everyday, complimented with fresh fruit, juices, cereals, local cheeses and hams. We spent 3 very relaxing, peaceful nights at Casa & Natura and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The owners did everything to make sure our stay was perfect and it certainly was. I realised when i returned to the UK i had left my mobile phone in the hotel room and emailed Nicola (owner) straight away. Only 36 hours later the phone had been delivered to me back at home, exceptional service! Thank you for an amazing few days and we will definitely be returning again one day.
