Had a lovely birthday lunch here. Opted for the set menu at 50 euros per person. The pre-starter of baby scallops was a delight, followed by an equally morish plate of stuffed raviloli then a veal dish for main which was rich and flavoursome. Finished off with a delicious wild strawberry tart. The bread basket was constantly topped up throughout the meal. I found Da Fiore to have a traditional and cosy atmosphere similar to other venice restaurants rather than a flashy Michelin starred feel. Service was pleasant, relaxed and efficient. The murano bread basket and water glasses on the table were a nice touch. It was pricy with the set menu, a glass of prosecco and a bottle of wine but it was my birthday and with the quality of the food and the laid back feel it was a very enjoyable experience.
