“A must go to restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

A small but charming Osteria. Only 9 tables or so. Must book. Charming hosts, great food and wine. A real treat away from the maddening crowds.

“Superb Fish, Interesting Preparations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Another all fish restaurant in Venice. No meat and no veggie only options. The place is small so dinner reservations are very hard to come by (make a request for them online on their website as far in advance as possible). Lunch is more relaxed and you can sometimes walk in without a reservation. It is worth the effort. The fish is excellent- extremely fresh with out of the ordinary spins compared to other Venice restaurants. Had amazing pesto ravioli topped with scallops. The soft-shelled crabs were not fried like usual but marinated in balsamic. They tasted amazing though am not sure if they tasted so much like crab. They also do fish very simply and beautifully that emphasizes the freshness of the fish. Definitely would go back if we can get a table!

“good service and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

You need reservations for this popular restaurant. We enjoyed our experience here with their tasty food and good service. The salad of greens with shrimp was excellent! We had the sea food sampler and the pasta with small clams. All of the food was very good. We would definitely go back. Again, make sure you have a reservation and that you call to confirm the day of. Our bed and breakfast did that for us.

“Superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

From the friendly and attentive service onwards, this place was great. The fish starters and main course were beautifully prepared. Of the 5 or 6 meals we have had in Venice, this was most definitely the best.

“A hidden gem in Venice - find it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Possibly one of the finest culinary experiences of our lives. An amazing little restaurant (only 8-9 tables) hidden away in a little street in Venice. It was utterly marvellous and well worth the wait until the second sitting. You must book well in advance. The service is exquisite, the menu enchanting and the food and wine are first class. This is a very special restaurant and a must-do while in Venice. It's quite pricey but worth every single euro! We will return and bring our friends next time.
