“Cheap and thats what it tastes like”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

This place was recommended to us as a nice, non touristic and low priced restaurant. I am normally a very forgiving diner but this meal and experience reminded me episodes of "Ramsay's kitchen nightmares".
We took the fixed menu that included a Pasta and for the main course seppie with polenta. The pastas were terrible.. the ragu alla bolognese was bland. any italian would have been ashamed to serve this. The main course with the Seppie (from the squid family) was covered with a black sauce that was extremely strong and untasteful. it felt commercially bought and used to disguise the defrosted seafood. the polenta was Awful!!!! obviously bought frozen and just shameful.
Bad, cold service.
the good: location and the price... even though i would have never paid this much for such a bad meal, in venice it is hard to find prices suitable for students.

“Good value and no pretensions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

This place has a high turnover of covers but never feels rushed. Pizzas are excellent, and the usual Venetian staples are well prepared, and attractively presented. This is a safe and reliable choice for all tastes. (Just persevere in trying to find it!)

“Excellent and cheap pizza!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Very nice place to spend a dinner with your family. Pizza was crispy like we love and the price reasonable.

“traditional and cheap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

It's the kind of place that you don't often find in Venice: normal traditional food at reasonable price. Cozy atmosphere, no fancy. You can find local people in harmony with tourists: rare!

“Worst restaurant in Venice”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012 via mobile

We came here as a group of friends, All italians.
We have negotiated for a set menù, and for 22€. What has been brought was quite disappointing.
Starters were quite small, "spaghetti allo scoglio" were poor, shells were empty and portions again very small.

After several complaints and threating the manager to write bad reviews on social networks, manager has told is that they don't need costumers pubblicity and that they are not afraid of bad reviews.

Do not recommend!
