At first we were a little skeptical about staying on Lido vs. mainland Venice. However, it worked out quite well. Lido was very nice island and the beach was also very nice. I would ask Stephano about what water bus to take in order to not waste any time on the water bus. We had some trouble finding the location, but this was due to us not having a map of Lido. The breakfast was very good. Our room didn't have a private bathroom, but the shared bathrooms were really nice. There was also a refrigerator and computer available for the guest. It wasn't that big of deal to take the water bus to go sightseeing. Please email with any specific questions.

Well, I wen't with my wife and we loved the place, the bedroom, the breakfast, the hospitality, the location...all was fantastic.
On my next trip to Venice, I'll returne to Casa delle Rose.
The neibourhood (Lido) is very quite and charmming, so After all the crowd hours waling on main islands, you can relax in a quite and calm place.

I highly recommend the Casa Bella Rose- a beautiful place to stay in a fabulous location! Venice is quite busy but Lido (a short bus boat journey away) is a stunning and quiet island with gorgeous homes. Casa Bella Rose is a short 3-5 minute walk away from the bus boat pier and is in a beautiful neighborhood.

The apartment itself has beautiful and clean bedrooms and bathrooms but I love the living room, kitchen and dining room, which is lovely to relax in after spending the day walking around Venice!

The friendly owner is Stephano who speaks perfect English and is very helpful. I attach some photos of the apartment and Stephano!

Note: Try to book the Casa Bella Rose directly instead of using Venere.it....

A short water bus ride away from the main sights of Venice, this is an ideal B&B to stay in. In a quiet street close to the waterfront and the bars and restaurants on Lido, Calle del Rose is comfortable and affordable.

Stefano was a great host and my daughter enjoyed the benefits of having free access to the internet.

I'd recommend Calle del Rose to anyone booking a short stay in Venice

My husband and I recently returned form a 16 day vacation to Italy. We spent 3 nights at Casa delle Rose and enjoyed it very much. The room was large and nicely decorated. The owner, Stefano was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. There are 2 shared bathrooms for 4 rooms which was never a problem. We ate at their family owned restaurant Parco Delle Rose. The food was fabulous and the service, second to none. We would definetly return to Casa delle Rose and recommmend it to our friends.
