We are just finishing a 6 night stay at Palazzo Stern and highly recommend it. This is our 4th trip to Venice and on our other trips we've stayed at 5 star hotels (the Danieli and the Metropole) and, other than a bit of a glitch with the hot water (we had to wait 20 minutes between showers), it couldn't have been more perfect. Both internet and breakfast were included in the price of the room, something that we, of course, paid extra for at the other hotels. We booked a junior suite which happened to be a corner room overlooking the Grand Canal - again, less expensive that smaller rooms at the other hotels. It was beautifully furnished with plenty of closet and drawer space. Alberto, the concierge, was very helpful and always seemed pleased to see us. The hotel was simply charming, and on our next trip to Venice, we will absolutely stay here.
