We had the pleasure of staying here for two fantastic nights. 11th - 13th March.

We booked through Citalia (who were fantastic).

A La Commedia is in the most amazing location (2 minutes to Rialto Bridge and 5 mins from St Marks Square). There are a selecting of restaurants close by and designer shops next door!

The rooms are spacious and the decor is divine. The finishing touches to the room are spectacular.

The reception staff were helpful andgave great advise about the area. I would like to go back this year and will look to stay here first.

You won't go wrong at this hotel.

Booked holiday via independent company called classicitalia.com. Very helpful and provided holiday much cheaper than via Expedia, etc.

Hotel was excellent - recently refurbished and it showed. Room facilities were excellent, clean and to a very high standard.

Hotel reception staff very friendly and helpful - recommending local restaurants, etc. I would like to make a comment about the maid service too - exceptional in terms of cleaning, etc and they even provided a little card detailing the next day's weather and a couple of chocolates when they had been been to turn down the beds. It's little touches like that which made this such an enjoyable experience.

Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and would DEFINITELY return here, despite the high prices for food, etc that seem to be standard in Venice.

Altogether a very enjoyable holiday experience.

there 3 nights from feb.17 2008. great location ,one block from RIALTO bridge and water boat stop-7-10 minute walk to san marco square. shopping and all types of restaurants within 1-2 blocks of hotel. great english speaking staff very very clean rooms with great service. perfect experience for our trip.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location, about a 1 to 10 minutes walk from most of Venice's activities. Nice comfortable rooms, large marble bathrooms but the plus is the staff, in one word fantastic!
