“A good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

This was our 2nd time to stay at this hotel, and we simply love it.
Rooms are clean, bathroom are well maintained and clean too.
Adequate choice of breakfast.
They provide a shuttle service from the hotel to Zarate and San Marco & back to the hotel. You just have to have a copy of their time schedule so you won't miss the service.
The concierge staff needs a little smile and should be welcoming - he looks as if he needs a happy meal.
Had my birthday dinner at Aromi - our server (whom i forgot his name-Sergio? ) is such a great guy. and food was great! the weather cooperated that night. it was awesome.
Although its a non-smoking hotel - its still a good choice for us to stay there again.

Room Tip: If you could request for a room facing San Marco would be the best. Watching the sunrise is always t...

The view is magical, the room is great, but the hotel is quirky, For example signs to their restaurant led us in circles. While relaxing in our room the mini bar attendant let himself in (did not allow us to answer the door). The Hilton Honors lounge was pale compared to other Hiltons. They allowed us to check in early which is always a plus.

The room was clean, the elevators while very small were quick. The free launch often times would pass you by ( but hey it was free).

The dining was also expensive but good. The area around the hotel is great for a quiet evening walk. You can ask for the shuttle ( 8 Euros ) to take you to the cruise ship.

Room Tip: ask for a view of Venice.

I was invited to attend a conference at the Hilton and it turned out to be a good venue for this, but I wouldn't recommend it as a holiday hotel. Location isn't the best, rooms are very old and noisy and sadly the hotel doesn't soak up the great atmosphere surrounding it in Venice.

Though rooms are not really up to the expectation for the well reputed brand, but one can really enjoy the views of Venice city and grand canal from the Sky Bar (evening till late night) and swimming pool (morning).

Amazing breakfast with decent spread.
Prompt room service.
Shuttle boat service really good (one need not really depend on this, as public transport boat stop is 5 mins away by walk)
One can really enjoy the sunrise and sunset with a canal view by just sitting in a quite relaxing environment right in front of the hotel

This hotel was just filled with Venice charm . The rooms were gorgeous and cozy. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. I loved that there were shops and restaurants near by so i didn't always have to take the shuttle to dine out. The shuttle however was extremely reliable and always on time. I will definitely stay here again.

Currently staying in the hotel and their advertised shuttle service is not reliable. Around 40 people waited almost 2 hours in the rain whilst stuck on the other side of the canal. At 11pm at night we were all concerned if we were going to get back to the hotel or not. This hotel is only worth staying at if the shuttle service is available, or you can't get in to venice. Don't trust it.

Dear Sir, Madame,

First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to let us have your impressions about your visit at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice.

I do regret that you did not find our shuttle service to be efficient and adequate to your needs; however we can offer a guaranteed maximum number of seats and we are sorry that during your stay you were experiencing some difficulties in finding available space.
May I take this opportunity to confirm that our complimentary shuttle boat runs every 20 to 40 minutes from 8 am in the morning to 1 am at night with the only exception of 1 hour break in the afternoon. Also, the ACTV public transport station Palanca is only a few minutes’ walk away from us and connects any part of Venice with departures every 10 minutes.
Although you express some disappointment, I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the not too distant future so that we can demonstrate the high level of service we are renowned for.

Best regards

The best aspect of this hotel is it's 8th floor pool that overlooks Venice. Make sure you get there early as the area has limited seating capacity. But, the property has many shortfalls considering its price. Our first room had an A/C that did not work correctly that caused severe condensation and wet carpeting. Additionally, Americans should be warned that the hotel does not have 120v electricity. Also, they charge for WiFi and the breakfast buffet is bad. The dinner restaurant is only adequate and overpriced.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room overlooking the lagoon.
