“No TV or Internet in the room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Best thing about this place is its location. One of the staff members was also very gracious in helping us figure out which bus to take to the airport. Our room did not have a TV which I thought was mandatory. Also the "free wi-fi" is only in the lobby of the hotel. (Our room was several floors up). This was especially frustrating when our flight was cancelled and we had to run back and forth between the wi-fi access and telephone in our room. The rooms are large but dark and cave-like. Overall, the hotel was very, very basic.

A great hotel in an excellent location, (close to the Rialto Bridge) very reasonably priced. Roberto was a helpful and friendly host. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the coffee. Highly recommended.

The facility charms you; the personnel treat gently treat you with familial care. The rooms are small but lovely--1 block from the Rialto bridge, near vege market. Great breakfast is included. Rick Steve stays there, and I seewhy!

Room Tip: reserve well in advance rooms fill quiickly here and throughout Venice.

Our room had a view of the Grand Canal through an archway. The room was very large with two day beds. Roberto was a wonderful host and source of information. We would definitely return. Breakfast was included in the price. It was simple, but sufficient.

Enjoyed staying here. Very good customer service. Rooms were clean, BF was good.We stayed 3 night, left our luggages to go to the dolomites and stayed another night when we came back. They helped us with getting schedules for bus tickets to cortina, restaurant suggestionsThey even moved my very heavy bag from the 2nd floor to the top floor. Very happy about that! Met the owners, Roberto-( quiet,handsome,debonaire-reminded me of james bond:)) and Pierro (animated, handsome too but kinda scary bad boy look like vin diesel ;)) I will definitely stay here again.

I Love Guerato. Stayed there on 3 different trips to Venice .. The location is amazing. literally 10 feet from the famed Rialto Market. Pensione Guerato is run by two very nice young couples. The rates are very reasonable, the place has nice clean rooms with a nice ambiance and a wonderful Breakfast Room where they serve you a wonderful Breakfast (included in price of room) every morning that includes, fresh Orange Juice, fresh Croissant, Yogurt, fresh Fruit, and awesome Coffee... looking forward to going there once again.
