We stayed here for four nights in the annex and although the room was probably the smallest we stayed in during our trip through Italy it was very clean, comfortable, decorated in the venetian style and all of the staff we encountered were fantastic. We loved the location away from the busiest tourist area of Venice and we found some fantastic restaurants and even a supermarket to buy snacks at nearby. The breakfast was great (especially for a two star hotel) and they were happy to lock our bags up near reception so we could go for a walk on the day we checked out (our train didn’t leave until the afternoon). This place was amazing value for Venice and if I ever go back there I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

There isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said about this gem. We stayed four nights in mid-October. We stayed in the Annex which is across the small canal from the main building. Our room was huge with a king size bed, sofa, and a lovely/modern/clean bathroom. Our windows opened onto a small canal. The breakfast is delicious and served by very friendly staff. Best espresso and cappucino in Venice! Our first morning we enjoyed "finding" our way to the Rialto Bridge, maybe a 10 minute walk but can turn into an hour or whatever......it is up to you as you discover shops and the Rialto Market. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Venice and would go back to Al Ponte Mocenigo in a minute! We were fortunate to have fantastic weather during our stay. So sorry for the residents and tourists who are visiting now during the flooding.

We loved this little hotel! It was enough off the beaten path yet everything was easily accessible. As we're walkers we walked from one end of Venice to another. We spent three nights here. The room we were in was right next to the front desk and we were really concerned about noise but we never heard a sound.The room was lovely, comfortable and very clean. Couldn't ask for more. The staff could not have been more helpful sending us to wonderful restaurants and helping with directions and a walking tour. Hope to return someday.

We loved everything about this place. All of the preceding reviews have said it all - a great location, excellent and friendly service and a very good location. We were there for the Aqua Alta and got boots from the hotel. Even though the water was too high for them, and we spent the day with wet feet, we had a blast.
This hotel deserves its ranking.
