“Wonderful except for the mosquitoes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

The hotel is located in a huge square rather than in the narrow walkway. So there is a good view if your room is facing front. Across a bridge is a supermarket where you can purchase cheap food and material water etc. Very convenient.

The room is huge but too much empty space and walls without carpet and curtains, making it looks kind of "cold" rather than cosy. But the toilet is very nice, clean and warm!

Breakfast is provided but the variety is quite limited. There are many good cafes around Venice, so breakfast is not critical. Surprise that there is no tea/coffee facility, so we can't enjoy any hot drink in the cold weather.

However, the insulation in the room is good, so good that you feel hot enough to want to turn on the cooling air con rather than the heater. But the air con appears to function only as heater during winter. We opened the windows instead.

There is no lift, so ask for low floor to save from the tiring stair climbing! They do have a small "stair lift" for baggages only.

btw, dismay to see many mosquitoes despite the cold winter in this hotel. This is quite a turn off. Hopefully they can do something about this.

Room Tip: Ask for front room for great view into the huge square if possible!

This hotel is well-placed between SanMarco and Ponto Realto.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are good-enough.
Thanks a lot to the stuff - always ready to advice a nice restaurant or even help with falks and plates to eat pizza inside :)

My family and I were extremely comfortable in the room and pleased with the attention from all the staff, from top to bottom. The location, setting and decor really let you know where you are. It is easy to get around from here and we hightly recomend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the painted ceiling.

we recently stayed at palazzo vitturi. it was a wonderful hotel, in a terrific location. the staff was so very helpful. we traveled with teenagers, and had adjoining rooms. they were clean and spacious. everything we needed was readily available. the breakfast was more than adequate, and there are places to eat literally within steps from the palazzo's front door. although there is no elevator, they have a lift that takes your luggage up the stairs. there are only about three television stations. so, if you aren't a reader, they do have free wi fi- come prepared with movies or your lap top, the bathrooms are huge and have all the amenities. we would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful palazzo to any traveler.

Room Tip: if you are traveling with teenagers, choose adjoining rooms. they have a private entrance that close...

Central location easy access to the sights of Venice. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent English far better than my Italian.
We had two rooms and both were very spacious well equipped and clean.
Our double room had a Super King size bed and beautiful Frescoe walls with the added benefit of underfloor heating.
Our other room a triple had three single beds for our teenage daughters, still plenty of room with a view over the square. With the added bonus of the best shower my middle daughter as ever had.

Breakfast was buffet style and very plentiful. They even provided a mug for my tea .

I have no hesitation in recommending this great hotel in Venice.

Room Tip: Our double was room 23 and our triple 11. not together but not needed as our children are teenagers...

This hotel is situated in an excellent central location ideal to reach easily most parts of Venice, a few minutes walk from Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The rooms are very elegant, comfortable and spacious with a good sized bathroom ideal for families. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Good continental breakfast. Free WI-FI was a much appreciated part of the package. There is absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel.

One little suggestion is that a kettle is made available in the rooms.

Thanks for the lovely stay. We definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

Room Tip: Although our room was overlooking the square, it was very quiet whilst still enjoying the everyday a...

The staff was lovely and very helpful, the rooms are spacious, you even get a free boat ride to Murano island, but be aware that you need to get a regular water bus to get back. The location is also great and there is also a nice area between the rooms where you can sit and drink tea or coffee, with a small balcony overlooking the square.

Room Tip: Room 16 was nice and spacious :)
