“Cheap and quick eats!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

I tried the mozzarella in carrozzo- a fried sandwich with loads of mozzarella and parma ham- for only 1,70 Euro, and it was amazingly different, tasty and greasy :) This local Place for italians is Worth trying for a Quick bite if you are nearby!

“Amazing Venetian cuisine ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

This place is not your traditional restaurant. It looks like a canteen where you order your food and they they give it to you to take to your table. Mainly Italians go there, whether they are tourists or local.
The food is amazing. And extremely cheap.
We got the grilled vegetables, the mixed fried seafood (which came with a big block of polenta), and various fried starters, such as prawn risotto balls (arancini), stuffed olives with sardines, deep fried battered potatoes and battered mozzarella with sardines. Everything was yummy! The portions are generous. We also got 1 big bottle of sparkling water. The bill came to €26.50

“Good traditional Venetian/Italian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

In the first floor you have wide variety of choices to go o if you are lucky enough to find a spot in the crowded restaurant you willbe albe to sit and enjoy the good food without having to pay coperto per person. In the seconf floor the ambience is more elegant and you have to pay coperto. Is a very traditional restaurant which we found by accident getting lost in the Venetian alleys... Mostly frequented by locals but now more and more for tourist. Good ratio price /quality. Portios could be a little bigger.
