“Great service and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

We just stumbled upon this gem near our hotel. We were thinking about buying some Italian food to take home with us to Norway and this shop was just what we were looking for. Small, but great, selection of cheeses and meats. They also have pasta, limoncello, jams and other nice things. And great, smiling service!

They can vacuum pack your food so it will hold longer wich we said yes to, since we wanted to bring back the goods to Norway.

Try the asiago cheese, a local speciality for the area! They both have young ang aged versions.

Only downside is that they only take cash, but since there are several ATMs nearby it is not that big of a problem.

“A lovely little delicatessen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

We found this place in search of some ingredients to make a nice picnic, the man in the shop was so helpful and even gave us some samples of cheeses to try first. We ended up buying an amazing selection of meat and different cheeses and olives and were given a free jar of onion chutney to go with it. I was very suprised at how inexpensive it was too. We bought some bread from a shop aroundvthe corner and went and had our picnic in Giardini della Biennale.

“Fantastic!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

We took a previous suggestion on trip advisor and went to Prosciutto E Parmigiano to get some meats and cheeses to make our own sandwiches (the bakery down the street for bread) and sit down by the water. They were extremely helpful and suggested the best for our tastes and even gave us a 'burrata' on the house which we devoured. (Even gave our dog a little sample too!) We returned a few nights later for a selection of meats and cheeses (and loaded up on burrata) for a light dinner at our apartment.

Wish we could of packaged everything and brought it home with us, we were in heaven!!

“Best Parma Ham I've ever tasted”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

Wonderful shop, with a very pleasant, helpful owner. We bought some Taleggio and Parma Ham, which was so sweet and almost dissolved in your mouth, eating it by the canal. Wish we'd bought more!
