Wonderful wine bar and restaurant for lunch and dinner - reasonable prices and helpful staff - close to San Silvestro vaporetto stop - well worth a visit

Lovely little place. Great to stop in the middle of the day for some Prosecco or other wines from the area. Nice menu, fresh foods and all authentico!

“A Host of excellent qualities in a city that is forgetting Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Coming from a city known for tourism-New Orleans- I understand the importance of the tourist dollar. However, Venice's many canal-side cafes and restaurants seem to have forgotten. all' Amarone vineria was found by chance and great fortune to both my pallete and wallet. I was greeted immediately by 3 different staff, had my menu, and wine ordered and the experience went up from there. The assorted cheese and meat plate was devine and quite filling and yet i wished to stay with these lovely folks. A platter of bruscetta-like treats with various toppings followed by a tappas portion beef in wine dish followed. The wine by the glass selection was excellent and I recieved great recommendations from the staff as well as guests. The owner loves blues and jazz so expect to be lulled into relaxation as you sip a lovely and reasonably priced Pinot or the signature Amarone. You will probably make friends with the owner who sips wine and visits guests as well as the personable and professional staff. In a city built for lovers, I have fallen in love with this place and hope you wary traveling diner do as well.

An authentic wine bar with a great selection of local wines and a small menu of exquisite italian specialities located in a very quiet and authentic Venetian spot. We loved it!

“Best kept secret in Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

This is a stunning restaurant in Venice. Tucked into a quiet corner near San Bartolomeo, it has a great menu and reasonable prices. One of the best things is the opportunity to try a selection of local wines. Ask the staff for a recommendation and they won't put you wrong.
Also, if you are gluten intolerant, this is a great choice. They provided a beautiful gluten-free pasta dish. The rest of the meal was sensational too.
This was one of the highlights of our memorable trip to Venice.
