In an area where you can pay ?5 for a coffee, this spot is unpretentious hideaway. Pizzas are good value, although the service is a little slow when busy. We came here for lunch and then for a coffee the following morning and would wholeheartedly reccommend it.
The food was pretty good. The service was horrible. The waiters treated us like we were a bother. The food compared other restaurants was a step down
It is a nice place to have pizza, which is not far from San Marco square. You can grab a slice (which will be cheaper) or order the whole pizza. I heard from locals that Rossopomodoro considered to be one of the best pizzerias. It is definetly true. If you are pizza eater - please go there.

This is a fantastic place for food and value. It is so close to Piazza San Marco but the prices are not exhorbitant. The pizza is great and the staff are very friendly. The food sitting down is very good as well. You could pay twice the amount at other restaurants near the piazza and not get nearly as good food.
This is a very charming and nice restaurant, with lots of beautiful people and reasonable service for an always crowded place. The pizza is excellent specially because of the tomato sauce. The La Verata with muzzarella di bufala is simply the best for me in the world. We did not like the pasta, which is only regular.
