“Beautiful Hotel in Convenient Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon stop in Venice. It's a perfect location - off the beaten path, but still centrally located. It's a gorgeous hotel and the rooms are a nice size and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and the breakfast that's included is pretty substanial - lots of pastries though! This hotel even has its' own private gondola dock which is nice if you want private water transfers, etc. Definitely stay here - it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it! We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We stayed in standard room and it was plenty big for 2 people with 2 pieces of luggage.

The location of this lovely hotel was extremely convenient, and very scenic right on the canal. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel and rooms are beautiful, but staff treatment to guest was horrible! Also restaurant, spa, inclusive breakfast leaves much to be desired. More like a two star than five star, please do yourself a favor for 1,000 US dollars a night u can do much better!

I stayed at the hotel with friends for two nights and was thrilled. The hotel was beautiful and the location excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. We even had a gorgeous terrace that overlooked a canal! Could not give it a higher recommendation.

The hotel really lived up to my expectations. In an excellent position minutes from the realto bridge and 10 minutes from St Marks square. The staff in the hotel were excellent and so helpful. The room lovely and the bed so comfortable. We sat at breakfast and looking out of the window watched the boatmen about their daily business on the canal. The only slight negative was the lack of a dressing table and mirror as the bathroom mirror was too far away to put makeup on easily.

A family holiday so we booked two rooms, both were lovely - very well furnished and in keeping with the city. Hotel had just opened when we stayed so everything was perfect and the staff were great although maybe needed a bit more time to bond but service was very good. We ate in the restaurant one evening and service was faultless although food was slightly bland. Location is great and you can get dropped off in reception by water taxi (beware cost of these though). we would definitely go back.
