in occasion of my girlfriend's birthday, we stayed in this cute and splendid hotel in the centre of venice. the staff was very welcoming and comforting during our stay and the structure of the hotel was very neat in details, not loosing the typical architecture despite the modern refurbishment.
a particular note goes to the tasty breakfast and the wine selection to make the weekend that little but more romantic.
i'm looking forward to come back very soon and i strongly advise to choose this hotel rather than going for the standard, commercial option.

I stayed at Corte Di Gabriela with my family in July 2012. We had the most incredible time.
All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay as luxurious as it could be. An added bonus of the holiday was the delicious homemade bread served at breakfast! I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was our great fortune to discover by chance the Corte di Gabriela in Venice. From the moment we spotted the inviting entrance we were completely charmed. The small hotel is the perfect blend of elegance, warmth and contemporary sophistication. It truly captures the magic of Venice. Situated on a quiet street, it is housed in a 19th century building that was originally the residence of a prominent attorney who headed the Venetian Syndicate. The owners are the most engaging and lovely couple whose labor of love is the Corte. They had just completed a beautiful and thorough renovation of the house. Every detail of design and construction was well considered and expertly executed. It is very unusual to find this level of perfection in a hotel. Our room was quite wonderful and chic with a canal view. And every breakfast was another highlight. Gabriella and Gian Luca were wonderful hosts and their staff is friendly and always there to assist. We had four fabulous days in the Venice in part because we felt as though we had been their personal guests. We are dreaming of our return to Venice and to the Corte di Gabriela.

Great design hotel, convenient location, great atmosphere thanks to the hotel and the owners who really gave warm welcome! Stood three days and were the great days. A unique combination between design and old, modern features and comfort, in the middle of Venice.

The breakfast was great and the rooms very nice and comfortable, each one different from the others. Definitively a place to come back when next in Venice.
