“Cicchetti!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Nice little place. One of the cheapest Spritz places we found. Only 2.20 Euros for an Aperol Spritz. Many Cicchetti on offer that looked lovely. Get a selection of them and sit back enjoying a sit down and a nice drink. Plenty of good quality wines at a cheap price. Closed Mondays I think as we went back and it was shut. A must when travelling to Venice.

“Perfect bar.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Lovely little bar opposite gondola boat yard. Lovely selection of snacks for 1 or 1.5 euros. Delicious prosecco @ 2.20 euros a glass. Friendly service too! Splendid.

“Good value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

This was my husband's favourite Osteria on our recent trip to Venice. The food and wine is very good, and there is some seating, unlike my preferred Osteria further up the canal, which is a welcome relief after a day walking around Venice! Great to be able to see the gondolas being built while you sip Prosecco and nibble on some Crostini.

“A real delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

Sometimes there are places you don't want to recommend, you want to keep them secret. This is definitely one of those. So if you want simple food and complex wines in a superb Venetian setting, I reluctantly have to recommend you try this osteria. If you enjoy it; shhhhh don't tell anyone, it's only a small place. If you don't like it, I suggest you check your pulse because you probably have no heart

“Fab Cichetti and Prosecco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

Small, cosy, and just great food and drink and all incredibly priced €1 or small snacks and about €1.50 for the local wine. Great place as well to meet people and chat as the seating is all very communal.

The staff as well are very welcoming and friendly, and know enough English to talk you though their lovely array of foods. Great value in a city that is often very overpriced.
