We were due to go La Fenice and were looking for somewhere to eat after the opera. Most of the restaurants near the opera house were very expensive. We spotted this small unpretentious place and checked that they would be open late. The response was positive and the exchange so friendly that we had no hesitation booking. We got there shortly before 10pm and were made very welcome. We chose the fixed price menu, including water and wine (as noted by others) , and were delighted by the quality of the dishes - it represented excellent value. This is a bit off the beaten track and is not designed for tourists - the other customers were all Italian. Strongly recommended.
