Me and my Girlfriend have just returned from our lovely stay in Venice and I'm almost certain that if we were to stay anywhere different than the Ca' Del Campo we just wouldn't of had the same experience of being in the heart of Venice.
I'll break my review down into sections, just to make it easier to read a specific part of interest.
Location and getting to the hotel -
The hotel is situated in the heart of venice right on the doorstep of a busy collection of different restaurants, cafes and shops. It is located next to a small waterway where you can easily catch a ride in a Gondola and make your merry away around Venice. The hotel too is only around 2 - 3 minutes walk away from St Marks Square which is very convenient if you wish to take a late night stroll.
Getting to the hotel from the airport in our case was fairly easy, we simply used the Alilaguna boat service and caught a ride on the Blue Line which dropped us right off at St Marks Square, it was then only a short 5 - 10 minutes walk from the boarding dock, to make finding the hotel easier be sure to print the map from their website, this made it much easier for us.
The Rooms -
The room that we stayed in was perfectly situated on the 3'rd floor at the front of the hotel, so we had a great view of the canal and bridge to the side of the hotel and the small charming restaurants by the turn of your neck.
The rooms are very clean and are set to a very high standard for a 3* hotel, plenty of wardrobe space and a beautifully tiled bathroom with a walk in shower. The only negative about our room was the bed, it was fairly harsh on the old back and the covers were of a certain acquired taste, along with the curtains to match.
There is a Television in the room, however there aren't any English channels to choose from, it wasn't a problem for us but I figured it may be for someone else.
The street below can be relatively noisy from time to time, particularly early morning and late evening, however the windows are very sound proof and when closed almost block out virtually of the sound, which is great.
Wifi is available for an extremely cheap price consider the amount that you get and there is also a minibar within the room.
The service of the staff from the hotel was some of the best service I have ever experienced in any of my city breaks. The staff spoke fluent English and were more than happy to share with us some of the cities history and advise of us good restaurants.
The breakfast room was situated on the 4th floor in what seems to be a converted loft with skylights built into the roofing, this wasn't a problem however as there is a reliable lift within the centre of the hotel.
The breakfast was very simple and exactly what you would expect from a continental breakfast, cereal, milk, oats, yoghurts, selection of meats and cheeses and breads.
I can't emphasis enough of how happy we were that we chose this hotel, the reviews on here really do it justice and I'd like to find out why anyone else would say otherwise. We will certainly be visiting again.

Dear Sir, Madam,
Report response as inappropriate
we wish to thank you for the nice comment written on tripadvisor about your recent stay at our hotel. We are very pleased to learn that you were happy with almost all the services of our hotel and with the staff. What makes us happier is that you enjoyed the service of our staff but we are very sorry to learn that you have not been able to find the channels of British television because they are provided. It was enough to ask our staff to do a reset of your television.
We anyhow apologize for this inconvenience and thank you again for your thorough review about our hotel.
