“Good location and very good hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

I looked for days for the best location and hotel in Venice and after all the searching and reading reviews settled for the liassidi palace this is our last night as I type and it has been a great hotel. We caught a private water taxi in €110 not cheap bit if you see the people that caught the public one dragging their cases over the bridges I'm glad we did and it was a great 25 min boat ride. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and advised a couple of lovely restaurants not too far away. All towels and sheets if you want are changed daily. Continental Breakfast only here but good choice including bacon and scrambled egg. The air conditioning is great to come back to after a days walking. We booked a room for three adults as daughter 18 and were given 2 rooms with interlocking doors. Both had large double beds and although not having a canal view (which we heard could be noisy ) we were happy at these 108 & 109 overlooking court yard. These rooms are quite small but adequate for the time you spend in them. Wi-fi free as I listen to radio 2 while typing. All in all a great hotel and location just 5 mins to Saint marks

The hotel is central to the busy part of Venice. The rooms were clean and look into an inner court yard. The breakfast was very good, a big choice of food. Staff were friendly. Just over the bridge by the hotel are gondola and facing the hotel is a wonderful restaurant. A few minutes away is the famous bridge of sighs.

The location was great, we could walk everywhere. The service at the hotel was beyond compare. Each member of the staff successfully trying to meet all of our needs and requests. The rooms were nice with a very small balcony facing the canal. A room with a view is worth the extra expense. Based upon the courtyard, the service and the location, it was one of the best hotels of the trip!

Room Tip: Higher floor, room with a view and a small balcony

This was the final hotel I stayed in after 10 days in Italy. By the end of this trip, I was very exhausted and was hoping to have a relaxing remainder of my stay. This hotel did NOT disappoint. It met and exceeded all of my expectations, here's why:

- Room was a good size, well decorated, comfortable, and cool. AC was great!
- Bathroom was the nicest bathroom I had in Italy. It had the only blow dryer where I didn't have to keep pressing down on the "on" button for it to work!! (it's the little things, people)
- There were noisy people walking by our bathroom window, but the room had doors and windows that blocked out all of the commotion. Very quiet, very relaxing.
- The front desk service was very charming, friendly, and accommodating .I even lost my credit card and when I had to place an international call to cancel my card, they did not charge me for the call. Incredible...made a stressful situation 100% better.
- The breakfast was pleasant and tasty, good selection
- The location of the hotel is fantastic...walking distance from St. Marks, and if you're adventurous, the Rialto bridge (you will get lost but trust me you'll want to)

We were so glad to arrive to this beautiful centrally located hotel after our last horrid hotel in Florence. The staff was great and had been able to allow us to arrive a day earlier and actually upgraded our room to a beautiful junior suite. This has been the best hotel room thus far during our European vacation. The bathroom is great. The shower pressure is awesome. It is very well decorated. The breakfast was fresh and good enough to start the day. The room was clean and the minibar well stocked. I would definitely stay again. Just beautiful hotel and city.

Room Tip: Your room may not face the canal but you can see it throughout the hotel.

I am very lucky in my job and visit a lot of hotels.
I have stayed in over 6 in Venice including the Danieli.
But I must say this is the best in Venice value wise.
Price about £150.00 per night inc breakfast 2 persons.
Rooms we used two different rooms during our stay, as we had not pre booked.
The first was just great right on the canal so close we were speaking to the people in the gondolas
as they went past our window,
The room was spotless. The massaging power bath a god send after walking all day.
The charges for the drinks from the fridge were cheaper or compatible with bars outside, which is a first for me ever.
They also have a courtyard bar which is unusual for Venice. Nice to come back to for a drink ,
Last but not least the staff nothing is a problem from the cleaners to the front of house.
I think it would unfair to single anyone out but thanks to you all.

We stayed here in early June in a 2nd floor room. We arrived by water taxi to the hotel landing stage and our room was ready at 1pm so we went straight in. The staff gave us a lovely friendly welcome. The hotel is in a great position, just a couple of minutes walk from the waterfront and 5-10 minutes from St Mark's Square but away from the crowds. The hotel has a lovely courtyard area where drinks are served by a really friendly bar man, good prices at €3.50 for a good sized glass of lovely wine, the cheapest we found in Venice. Our room was nice with high ceilings, and a good bathroom. We had no view out the window but that did not bother us as we were out during the days and evenings anyway. The air conditioning was needed and kept the room cool. Spacious bathroom with jacuzzi bath and 3 windows. breakfast had a good choice and lovely hot chocolate. A couple of tables have a view of the canal outside. A lovely place to stay with really friendly staff who made time to talk to us every day, we are already talking about coming back next year.
