“Vivaldi in Venice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

A delightful evening of Albinoni, Vivaldi and Pachebel, very popular music but nonetheless very enjoyable. The venue is superb, wonderful ceiling painting , but the concert hall is on the first floor and if you have difficulty with stairs give it a miss. The ladies of the ensemble wore C18 dress and looked wonderful.

“Great Vivaldi, average other stuff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

Advise sitting in first rows, where the interaction between the soloists is more visible. Their Vivaldi was classic, but their treatment of Early Mozart and Purcell in the Venetian style wasn't very good. We went to the evening that wasn't four seasons, and were glad we did.

“Hot, hot, hot.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

This talented ensemble captured the essence of Vivaldi's Four Seasons with their spirited and enthusiastic playing. The beautiful baroque (former) church seemed to become several degrees warmer during the sultry bee- laden 'Summer' and then became icy with the chilling screech of 'Winter's icicles. There are also several lovely paintings and six marble sculptures in the lofty marble columned church. A feast for the ears and the eyes.

“"Beautiful concert"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

This talented, world renown, concert ensemble playing Vivaldi's Four Season's was the highlight our visit to Venice! They played in a beautiful, old church which was both easy to walk to and right on the Accademia waterbus stop. We came home with one of their CD's to re-live the moment. A must see when in Venice.
