The church itself is lovely, although part of it was closed off during our visit. The floors are well worth looking at. Head through the church to the left hand corner where you will find the entrance to the Campanile (bell tower). A lift (only takes 6 people at a time) whisks you to the top where you have the most amazing view. You can see across to St. Marks Square and the waterfront there as well as the lagoon and the myriad of small islands. Looking closer you can see the beautiful knot garden in the church grounds. For the small fee charged I think this is one of the best views in the whole of Venice. Get there on the Vaporetto then enjoy.
