Owner description: Life is a journey, travelling is living twice.” – Omar Khayyam – (Persian poet of XII century)I am a tour leader. I visited many countries… not to find myself, tot o learn how to live. And from you, and all of those I met during my journeys I learned something. This is the reason why I love my job. For me it represents an opportunity to meet men and women from different places and with different cultures.

“Fabulous and fun tour of Venice with Nadia!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Nadia was an amazing tour guide in Venice on March 30. It was a great time to be there - Sunday - no crowds and the weather was perfect!! She knows the place inside and out and taught us so much!!! She's filled with facts and can answer any question you may have. Added to the main sights were a stop at a pasta (pastries as we call them - either way they were amazing!) and coffee, as well as a stop at a hotel terrace with some extra treats thrown in - all courtesy of Nadia.
We enjoyed our day and would highly recommend that you spend the day with Nadia and learn everything about the beautiful city of Venice!!!!

“Friend in Venice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Take a stroll in the streets of Venice, pass the crowded streets and into quiet ones, over picturesque little bridges, into quirky little shops.* Get lost in the maze of alleys without worry, at the end of this tour you will feel at home, knowing how the city came to be what it is, recognising some of its little secrets. The walking is easy even though it covers a lot of ground, and the boatride ensures you get to see the city inside and out. Time flies, and when it´s time to say goodbye you will know exactly where to go for lunch. The restaurants suggested by our lovely guide turned out to be the best we tried during our stay. Thank you Nadia!

*(Ask for a business card if you wish to find your way back later, it might be harder than you think!)

“The only way to tour Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Whether you are a first time visitor or not, spend time with Nadia to fully appreciate how special and unique Venice and Venetians are. Not only will Nadia educate you on Venetian history and culture, you will experience Venice on a more personal level through Nadia's connections. It is obvious at the various venues Nadia thoughtfully arranged for us to visit, there is mutual respect and warmth between Nadia and her peers. Our day with Nadia was memorable for many reasons, to be able to experience Venice's beauty and charm through a Venetian's eye, and to be able to spend time with the Venetian gracious and warmth that is Nadia. Thank you for a day our family will not forget, Nadia.

“3 Days in Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We arrived in Venice on Friday April 4th, 2014. We didn't want to lose our day to jet lag so we scheduled an afternoon tour with a Friend in Venice, our Friend this day was Vilma, who promptly met us at our Hotel with a warm greeting. Before heading out on tour ( Venice for Pleasure) she showed us a map/book of Venice and explained how it came to be and where it is now. Our tour consisted of two hours walking and a one hour private boat tour. I highly recommend this tour, and Vilma couldn't have been sweeter and interesting. Our second day we were met by with an equally warm greeting by Nadia. She also had a chat with us before leaving the Hotel before heading out on our 4 hour walking tour(The Venice Experience). Nadia was extremely interesting, fun and truly a friend in Venice, as was Vilma. Our tour was always interesting every step of the way. Nadia was kind enough to stop for a café/bathroom break anytime we needed it and very cognitive of my 80 year old Mom and her well being. Do yourself a favor and book a Friend in Venice. You will get the most out of your visit and gain a friend.!

“Wonderful Venice Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

My wife and I visited Venice for 3 days while on our honeymoon. It was our first time in Italy so we though a guided tour would be helpful. Nadia was simply awesome!
She is much much more than a tour guide. She is a historian, a teacher and clearly has such pride in Venice. It really comes through and allowed us to see Venice the way she wanted us to see it, which as she stated is through the eyes of a Venetian.
She does a great job describing the history of Venice so that you can truly appreciate the town and culture as you walk through it. She stays away from the major attractions, which is something everyone should do for a day or two if they have the time. Venice is not that big, so getting lost on side streets is truly fun.
I can't say enough about how great Nadia is and how great the tour is. Do yourself a favor, book this tour on your first day there. It will make all the difference.
