“An enjoyable stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Thsi hotel is located in a very pleasant area and its proximity to The Accademia Bridge makes it a very convenient place to stay. It is very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff in the hotel were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff are lovely very helpful and go the extra mile.
We arrived on Monday 27/4/15 to a free upgrade of room for my partners 30th birthday and they had a bottle of Italian wine in the room waiting for us which was lovely.
The hotel is very central, a lovely walk to macro square. Nice and quite area would definitely stay again and tell friends.
We ate is the hotel on the Tuesday evening, we both had lamb chops which where amazing!!! Plus 10% off with staying in the hotel.
The breakfast is to die for, fantastic variety and so fresh.
Thank you ca Pisani for a stunning 3days in Venice

Room Tip: Room 20 on the front with two windows great bathroom

We have just returned from an end of April stay in Venice. Our hotel was sited in Dorsoduro, within walking distance of most of the city attractions but in a slightly less expensive area than the centre. A small and neat hotel, quiet at night, very well decorated with very attentive staff. Breakfast was very good, bar prices a little higher than average. The restaurant was a little more expensive than average. We enjoyed an upgrade in room on arrival at no extra cost. The room was neat and the bathroom spotless with a jacuzzi bath and power shower. Overall, in a city where money can spill from your hands easily a very good value hotel to stay.

We were delighted with our welcome and with everyone on the staff; Our flight got us in 12 hours late, but the wonderful staff was waiting outside for us and welcomed us so warmly that we almost forgot about the awful trip. We then found the waiting Prosecco and even drank some. Everyone was not merely pleasant but also anxious to be helpful. The design elements of the hotel are interesting, especially the art works. It is almost like staying in a mini-art gallery. Along with other reviewers,we found the breakfast service attentive and we were spoiled for choice. Finally, along with everyone else,we were thrilled with the location. We were able to visit the Accademia and the Guggenheim on the same day. We could always find our way home by following Accademia signs, and we were close to the Zettere for seaside promenading. All in all a fine choice.

Room Tip: Try not to stay near the ice machine on the second floor as it can sometimes be noisy.

Superb stay. Staff couldn't do enough for us and were polite and attentive at all times. Great location - close to Accademia and Zattere water stops and 10 mins walk from St Marks. Stefano rang our Tour operator and clarified some details which was really appreciated. Rooms very tidy - floors have tea/coffee making stations. You can also get 10% off in restaurant and also their sister hotel which is useful
Venice is not cheap, so advice would be to shop around and decide where to eat - Trattorias's are good value for money - fill up on the breakfast which is plentiful and tatsy

dear 949astra,
thank you very much for your nice and detailed review. I am glad you liked our location, the staff, our tidy rooms and the tea stations on each floor (the idea behind them being to feel at home far from your home).
and - on the food side - I am glad you appreciated the richness of our breakfast, and the 10% discount we offer to our guests at 'la Caravella', the restaurant of our sister hotel.
the entire staff and I all hope to have the pleasure welcoming you again.
kind regards and have a serene weekend,
marianna serandrei

Recruitment and training of staff is exemplary. A warm welcome and excellent facilities made our experience really memorable. This hotel is in one of the most convenient parts of the city, a stones throw from the centre but much quieter than those on the other side of the Grand Canal. There is a wonderful choice for breakfast and staff make sure that you have a great time.

We stayed at the Ca'Pisani in April 2015. We arrived via vaporetto and the location was ideal. It is right next to the Accademia bridge and its vaporetto stop so we didn't have to drag our suitcases through venice searching for a hotel. We quickly found Ca'Pisani and were immediately greeted warmly by the staff, escorted to our room, and surprised with a celebratory bottle of champagne for our engagement. Venice is amazing, but incredibly easy to get lost. Being close to a major landmark made it much easier to navigate so the location was definitely the best part of this hotel. In general, the room was a bit tight on space, but that is expected in Venice. The bathroom had a great jacuzzi. The decor in the room and the hotel itself felt really dated and kind of dingy, very 80s. Despite it being April, at night the room would get unbearably hot so we were left no choice but to leave the window open and get feasted on by mosquitoes. There was also an incident where one of the metal strips that is supposed to keep the carpet in place was loose and my fiance tripped and fell on the stairs. Breakfast was great with lots of options. When it was time to leave the front staff was very helpful helping us find another couple to pair up with so we could split a water taxi to the airport. Overall I was content with our stay there and would pick it again mostly because of the location.

dear FunNSun86,
thank you very much for your nice review and the extensive description. as you pointed out, location and breakfast are both two important aspects of the hotel.
regarding the temperature, when you were here we were in the process of switching the air conditioning off and the heating on, and this is not an operation which can be done in five minutes. of course the best idea, in these cases, would be to open the window, and I am sorry there were mosquitoes. to avoid this inconvenience, we are spraying some specific repellent on the exterior of the room windows, and also provide some vaporizers to guests who need an extra protection.
what you wrote on the decoration surprises me because nothing is from the '80: actually the style is from Thirties and Forties, but not even one single object (at least as far as I know) from the period you quoted.
and I am sorry for what happened to your fiance: it was actually the first time and after that we asked the maintenance to fix it (and this was done).
we are all really glad you will be back to 'ca' pisani', and I take the chance to send you my kindest regards,
marianna serandrei
