“Restoring my faith in this site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, with beautifull art deco decor, very comfortable and stylish rooms and superb staff. If, in notoriously difficult Venice, that was not enough, add a great central location a minute's walk from the Accademia Gallery and excellent value for money. We didn't eat more than breakfast in the hotel restaurant but I am sure the food will be great as well. There are are pavement tables to enjoy a drink or a coffee outside and the location is just that crucial 100 yards away from the hubbub.

So rarely now do I come across somewhere with 5 star TA ratings that deserve them. Ca' Pisani deserves 6 stars. An absolute gem!

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw seemed to achieve the same almost jaw-dropping art deco stylishness.

The design of this hotel is certainly a stand out, refreshingly modern if you get overwhelmed by all the Venetian ornaments and decorations. As a 4-star hotel in Venice, it's quite pricey (double room for 345 Euro, without view), but there are all the modern amenities like excellent shower and nice lighting. Also, the breakfast (included in the rate) is well-stocked and delicious.

The staff at the reception desk were efficient and informative, but not particularly warm. I didn't feel the much-talked "Venetian hospitality" here as in smaller, more intimate hotels. Maybe they were simply too busy. Also, some things are arranged differently here, that seem rather impractical, but I know the reason is to save space (like everywhere else in Venice, space is at a premium). For instance, there is no ensuite tea/coffee-making facility. Instead, on every floor there's a common "tea station" where you can make the tea and bring it to your room. Another example is the small TV in the room, which has to be drawn out from a cupboard and adjusted at a certain angle for the screen to be visible from the bed.

Aside from these minor issues, I think Ca' Pisani is an experience to be had, even if for just one night.

dear SpiceNSpruce,
thank you very much for your nice comment and the positive review. we are glad you enjoyed your stay, and appreciated the modern amenities, lighting and breakfast.
regarding the reception staff, I was a little bit surpirsed they were not particularly warm, because - as you can read in many more reviews recently posted - they are usually very kind and do their best to make our guests happy.
as for the space issue, actually being an Italian hotel, we are one of the very few to have tea/coffee facilities on our premises because 99% of hotels do not even offer the service on floors, but only at the bar (if they do have one).
and tv is actually in the silver leaf cabinet because the concept of the room was (and is) to have them as 'clean' as possible, so tv, minibar and safe are actually in the cabinet.
I hope I clarified these small issues, and to see you again here.
all the best from the entire staff and myself,
marianna serandrei

A beautiful, first class hotel in all respects. Large rooms, very clean and staff couldn't be any better. Arrival to departure every need was promptly and efficiently looked after. Luxurious, art deco surroundings at competitive prices, even the restaurant is everything you would want. Nothing beats a great continental breakfast sitting outside while taking in the beauty that is Venice. From free WiFi to attentive staff to absolutely wonderful rooms, Ca' Pisani Hotel may just have been the best part of Venice. I am already looking forward to a return visit!

The rooms are fresh and new, and beds are good - quite a good size on the room as well. The terrace on the roof top is nice as well. The breakfast is really good: fresh fruit, fresh juices and a lot of choices. Friendly staff and the wifi actually works! The area is very nice with a lot of good restaurants, and the boat stops just around the corner from the hotel. Don't try walking from the terminal if you have luggage - too many bridges and stairs. If you however don't have in luggage, it is no problem to walk the 1000 meters from the terminal. We would definently stay here again and recommend our friends to stay here!

Ca' Pisani is in a fantastic spot, central to everything and yet out of the way so that it is peaceful and a real pleasure to return home to every night.

The staff and management go out of their way to ensure you are looked after and everything about the hotel is first class.

Marianna and her team are all wonderful and we can't wait to return.

Wonderful hotel, top quality, with very friendly, helpful staff. The location is brilliant, being in a quieter area but close to all the main attractions via the Ponte del'Accademia. Breakfast in the hotel was a feast and the restaurant menu very inviting with even some seating outside but there were so many lovely places to eat close by, especially those on the water's edge looking across to La Giudecca. Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated in the art deco style. The bathroom was very large with a massive spa bath, shower and all the fittings. Lots of lovely towels and beautiful bed linen. There was even a sun terrace on the roof with wonderful views over the city. The hotel even had free Wi-Fi. There was nothing we could think of that wasn't provided. Brilliant. Mille grazie.

Room Tip: We did not have a view from our bedroom window but didn't find this a problem as we were only sl...

Have stayed at this hotel before and again enjoyed our visit to this hotel. It is in a great location close to the ferry terminals and restaurants. The reception changed our room when we did not like the room given to us and gave us the room we previously stayed in. Also they gave us a bottle of prosecco for coming back.
